What did you use to beat Crossbones in Act 6.1?

I know that before and after his changes and his eventual buff... Crossbones has been a tough roadblock for many in their journey to Cavalier. As for me I tried many options and failed and I faced him after his changes and rework. I defeated him with Kamala Khan(Cap Marvel movie synergy) and it was a solo. She surprised me the most out of most of the champs I didnt expect her to be an option. What did all of you use for Crossbones?

I’ve seen a friend clear him since the changes with Mysterio with little difficulty.

I used Kingpin, you can either hope he shrugs the poison or just bring Hood if you have good counters for the rest of the path

I cant remember who I used on xbones but aegon will get a decent combo up by the time you get there.

I am still vacillating whether to take him to rank 5.

Did your friend record a video of the fight? I scoured YouTube but could not find one showing Mysterio is really a viable option.

Buff is very useful for the help of regeneration during the fight which comes in handy

Rank4 sentinel, a solo of 400 hits. When it came years ago.
And as a pro I am, it took me 7 revives to clear 6.1.2 ultron classic.

Most recently an unduped R4 5* Herc. This is a fight that can be done by any champion that doesn’t rely on their SP2 for their source of damage providing that you have at least one point in willpower. Just keep baiting sp1s and it’s an easy fight

I Unit-Man'd my way through him back in the day before the nerf since I didn't have any champs that worked for Biohazard, but since then I've had a lot of luck with both Warlock and Nick Fury (as long as you start in the first life and can shrug off the poison during the switch).

I suspect that my Diablo would shred the fight as well, especially if I bring Kingpin (I think it is?) along for the synergy that turns the poisons into passive effects rather than debuffs. However, I haven't actually tried him since he's a recent acquisition and I'm in no immediate rush to fully explore Act 6.
