  Those aren’t your champs. So basically you have to challenge the leader of the alliance to a dance off. Best two out of three wins. Stretch your legs bud.
  
  Haha in all seriousness, it happened to me before. Once the quest is done then you’ll have access to your champs again.

  Normally you would get them back after that AQ ends, but a new bug will keep them locked in AQ until this is a bug free game, meaning never getting them back.

  They are permanently locked in aq until you rejoin your previous alliance!

  They will send you a letter telling you that they prefer your old alliance more and would prefer to be with a more skilled player. However it’s them not you. But really it was you the whole time.
