I'm sorry but this Phoenix EQ fight is stupid

So what all am I suppose to watch during the fight?

Falter..try to make sure she doesn't step back and I don't try to intercept her.
Furies buffs...make sure she DOES step back after taking so much DOT.
Her bar of power...which she gains much faster during this fight.
Make sure I don't get hit after Rite of the Phoenix because I'm usually in the middle of a SP or combo and she comes at me after she steps back.?...its a little ridiculous Kabam.

On top of all that she regenerates to full health after you KO her once. Then if you happen to die after she regenerates then she still has another Rite of the Phoenix for next fight.

There are times when I beat her immediately after Rite of the Phoenix due to DOT (I guess). But some other times she comes back full health.

None of this makes sense...correct me if I'm wrong.

Cheesed it with Psylocke. Made her a horsewoman(?), power locked Phoenix, and it was smooth sailing. I haven’t done exploration yet, but I just made sure to get the initial kill while she was in her overload state. When overloaded, she has no Phoenix Force charges, so no big chonky regen to worry about.

Super easy, barely an inconvenience.

I think OP was stuck becoz u don’t understand the interaction of nodes. Like many said above, it is not hard at all, just tricky. Take a look of video posted by Adi_tya and you’re good to try again.

It's not hard fight but some people are pretending is it's fun. IMO it's not fun nor creative but some nodes forced upon even without second thought

You might not find it fun but it was a creative choice for sure. They very carefully made the nodes based on her kit

I don’t think anyone is pretending. A fight with the right amount of challenge is fun, at least for me.
Otherwise, how do you define a fun fight?

Somewhat agree .. not necessarily a "fun" fight ..

I classified it as "tricky" .. not easy, not difficult .. but you have to pay attention and play careful.

Having to focus so much on a fight isn't really .. "fun" ... but yes, I feel it's a well designed fight for this reason .. It requires skill/concentration/understanding of things .. and once you have that ironed out, the fight is not hard.

It's actually not too bad. Yes it does take longer than normal but...
First, watch for her furies. 3 or more then ur good to go.
Next, watch for the 'falter' when she retreats. That's all u really need to pay attention to.

My strategy, when she has 3 or more furies, I just parry / stun, attack like normal. If she retreats then attack u, I parry/stun, retreat to let falter wear off.

The rest is basically normal. Hope this helps.
