Act 7.4 rewards bugged or changed?

I noticed completion of chapter 4 gives you a rank 1->2 generic gem instead of a crystal for a random class. I just want to know if it's safe to use it because that's different than what was announced.

It was R1-2 generic gem only. The same was announced before. Its completely safe to use it @IvarTheBoneless .

I'm sorry but I don't think it was. Unless I missed something in the long thread of act 7.4 announcement. You can clearly see "crystal" in the announcement but a generic gem in game.

Oops. U seem absolutely right.

Whatever it is , I will just happily accept that generic gem over a class gem lol.
Many people have already done 7.4 and none have been punished so We can use it without any worries.

Same I'm not one to complain! Was just wondering if I missed an announcement.

Would have been funny to see the community reaction had this happened to the r3->4 gem.

I was really surprised when I couldn't find the gem to open in my crystal vault, and was actually pretty upset. Then I realized it was a generic, and thanks Kabam!
