Are abyss rewards now outdated?

I have recently 100% act 7.4 (great job kabam btw) and only have abyss left to do outside of carina challenges. I haven’t touched it as I generally have not enjoyed content like that. Looking at the rewards they seem quite underwhelming for the time investment needed. The awakening gem is nice for completion but the T5CC value has dropped quite a bit for me and all the 6 star shards could give you anything. Curious to see what peoples thoughts are and if you are considering getting it done now if you haven’t already done so.

For me I’m done it 11 mouc after release when I’m locked at them now not worthy it.

Depending where you're at, it can seem like that. But that wasn't the case when it was released or for people around that level.

Not outdated, but less valuable than they were the same time last year. But that is the nature of an ever evolving game. Abyss will eventually be like Lab, and something new with replace it in time.

Much like ROL and LOL, the Abyss rewards were great at the time but the content was also very challenging upon release.

Again, as with ROL and LOL, Abyss has gotten far easier to complete and explore over time with new champs as counters not to mention easier to rank up champs to 6* r2 and r3 when doing Abyss as opposed to when it was released.
