Thing about the modifiers would only really differentiate between ranks like 100-500 I would think.
1-100 is still going to run the same and still do the same modifiers in hope to break into that "top 45" for R4 materials. So it's still purely prestige at the top and really wouldn't impact or make a difference except annoy most of the alliances, and cause them to use more items when the drop inputs and random crashes are still not fixed.

I don’t really see much point unless they do put R4 materials into the milestones. Ultimately everyone in the top 90 at the very least would just run them and the status quo would remain the same.

Map 8 has far less BS than map 7 so it might not be awful but I quite like it not being awful. Could make it cheaper though ..

We are not. Those t5cc crystals have been moved to rank rewards. Because even kabam realized modifiers on map8 is a stupid, stupid idea. And most of us dont even open those t5cc crystals anymore, they collect dust in our inventory for months and months.
Modifiers on map8 would just inflate the scores, rankings would stay the same, we'd get same rewards, based on prestige. They dont add any value and would just drive the players nuts.
I'm starting to think the people asking for modifiers on map8 dont actually play map8 and are just trolling.

I’m had played map 8 one week so not alot experience one map 8 but agerd map 8 with modifications can be a disaster if isn’t make right and unless there put out like 1k t3 aplha it probably isn’t worth it just a ex
