I always open basics.

If you have a developed roster and missing like
10-15 champs (including some just for dupes) , basics aren’t always the best choice since the pool is so diluted

I have so many champs to rank up at the moment that I might as well hoard, and I'd love to pull an Omega Sentinel. With 3 months, and July offers coming in before the next crystal, plus Acts 6 and 7 completion, Variant explorations, and all the monthly events I can pretty reliably get me a nice stash of shards in the meantime while building up what I already have.

I think only whales should focus on featured because they can buy already released champs from cavalier crystals, so they can aim for new one on featured. For me, its all about basic.

In my entire mcoc experience,I have only opened 2 6 star Fts. Diablo and Chavez were the result.
Plus I have doom at max sig,not interested in ultron.
Missing many champs from basic. So basic for the win
