Just as a reminder, our rules:

Character requests are still a very frequent topic of conversation within our community, and with good reason - there are a ton of amazing Marvel characters in their universe.

The old Character wish list thread was ballooning a bit, and several characters requested in that thread have since been added to The Contest. We're starting up a new thread to house these discussions so that they can continue, but in a more up to date manner.

A few FAQ's:

1) Why haven't you added (X character) yet?!

A: there are so many characters we want to add, but simply haven't gotten to yet. A character's lack of presence in the Contest currently does not necessarily mean that we've overlooked them or that we don't already have them on our radar. Our teams have a finite amount of time in order to produce content, and we'd love to bang characters out quicker - but still need to maintain realistic developer cadences.

2) We need more female characters and more diversity.

A: Our own team is quite diverse itself, and we agree that representation is an important concern!

3) Why do you bother adding (X re-skinned character) when you've not even had a chance to add (x character not in The Contest)?

A: While some people are not a fan of character re-skins, MANY of our players are. The Marvel universe is one with a lengthy lore, and almost every beloved character has gone through some sort of costume change or shift at some point in their super-powered careers. These differences offer a good opportunity to re-introduce players to content they may not have managed to obtain the first time around, and allowing new players to pick up a certain champion while still keeping things a bit fresh. Our goal is to have a healthy balance between release types.

4) Can you confirm if a requested character is going to be released?

A: The short answer is no. We have specific timelines regarding when we can announce content, and that means that we can't pop in to say 'hey, that person is coming!'. For those wanting to keep on top of our latest announcements or teases, following our Twitter and Facebook accounts are your best shot. We also have an Instagram account that you should follow. Microbial Communication: While a part of the Age of X-Man plane of existence, Lin decided to focus her powers on something new. Only to see the shared historical feedback of both the victim and killer's memories.[18]
Nature Bonding: Shown to be able to quell and unify with even some of the more feral entities, like the Bamfs.[1] Despite being silent to people in general, Lin is able to communicate with both animals and plants.[6] Her persuasive power allows her to control animals and put them in action against enemies[19], as she did when Faithful John arrived at the Jean Grey School to kill Evan Sabahnur. In this situation, Nature Girl used her command over animals to distract John, leaving him vulnerable to other attacks.[20]

About Adam Warlock
Created by a group of people called the Enclave, Adam Warlock was created with the goal of making the perfect human being. Luckily for the people of Earth, the new being was a creature beyond the control of his creators. At first known as just “Him”, he would later go by the name of Adam Warlock. Later taking part in many different adventures with the infinity stones and even gaining a symbiotic bond with the soul stone.

Class: cosmic

Abilities: fury, armor up, soul stone, spells, ect…

Strengths:
A symbiotic connection to the soul stone
This bond with the infinity stone grants Adam Warlock lots of strong potential in the contest.

Weaknesses:
Buff steal
If an opponent could be able to steal Adam Warlock’s buffs, then Adam might not be the perfect man.

Passive
Immune to fate seal, stagger, and nullify effects
Start the fight with a regeneration buff. Healing 5% of health in 10 seconds.
Well timed blocks have a 20% chance to grant an armor up buff. Increasing armor rating by 800. Maxing out at 5 stacks. Also, when attacked with 5 armor up buffs, gain a 30% chance to remove the armor up buffs and auto-block the attack. This auto-block also has a 70% chance to trigger parry. This chance is increased to 100% if the parry mastery is active.

Soul Stone
Since Adam Warlock has a symbiotic connection to the soul stone. He makes good use out of it in the contest.

Adam Warlock has a timer at the start of the fight for 15 seconds where he searches for the soul stone. After the time runs out, it says soul stone found and this happens for 10 seconds. Then, when Adam Warlock dashes backwards and holds block for 5 seconds. He gains a soul stone buff lasting for 20 seconds granting different abilities. If he doesn't do this in the amount of time, the timer starts back at 15 seconds.
Whenever Adam Warlock or his opponent activates a special attack, launching a heavy attack into a non-stunned opponent, or a debuff fails to trigger due to immunity, Adam Warlock gets a fury buff that lasts indefinitely, increasing attack by 15% and maxes out at 20. After the soul stone buff expires, all fury buffs are removed
Gain 10 cleanse buffs. Removing any debuff that tries to trigger and removes 1 cleanse buff. These are removed if the time runs out.

Dev note: heavy attacks have to land to get the fury. And special attacks don't. Also, the opponent only grants Adam Warlock a fury buff when activating a special attack and not the rest. Adam has to do the rest himself.

Heavy Attacks
Animation suggestion: Adam Warlock lands a punch with his right hand. Then he lands a second punch with his left hand.

Dev note: each hit of the heavy attack grants a fury buff(‘s) when soul stone, increased soul, and/or super soul buff is active.

Spells
Adam Warlock is also good at using spells since Warlock is in the name.

After Adam Warlock activates his soul stone buff, he has 3 spells he can perform and these are removed if the soul stone timer runs out. Each buff gained from these spells lasts for 10 seconds
Teleportation spell (when dashing backwards 3 times in a row): gain an evade buff. Giving Adam Warlock a 40% chance to evade incoming attacks.
Cleverness spell (when landing a M, L, L, L, M attack): gain a precision buff. Increasing critical rating by 30%.
Safety spell (when holding block for 5 seconds): gain a bulwark passive. granting 550 block proficiency.
When all spells are completed, gain an increased soul buff for 20 seconds. Making all possible ways of gaining a fury buff grant 1 extra one. Also, gain a 20% chance to not lose a cleanse buff when one would be lost.

Special 1
Animation suggestion: Adam Warlock makes a sword in his right hand and slashes it at the opponent. Then he makes another one in his left hand and slashes it at the opponent. Last, he makes 2 swords in both hands and slashes both down at the opponent.
Each sword hit inflicts a power drain debuff. Each draining 10% of the opponents power.
If the soul stone was active, the last hit inflicts a bleed lasting for 5 seconds. Dealing 6% of damage overtime.
Special 2
Animation suggestion: Adam Warlock flies towards and punches the opponent with his right hand. Then he launches a big energy beam from his left hand.
The last hit inflicts a degeneration debuff lasting for 8 seconds. Dealing 6% of damage overtime.
If the soul stone was active, the first hit grants an additional fury buff.
Special 3
Animation suggestion: Adam Warlock shoots a big energy beam from both hands. Then, he flies towards the opponent and smashes them into the wall.
Stun the opponent for 5 seconds.
Gain a super soul buff for 20 seconds, doubling the amount of fury buffs when gaining a fury buff, doubling the percentage to keep a cleanse buff from increased soul, and removes the stack limit of fury buffs.

Signature ability: Perfect and Powerful
When gaining fury buffs
10 - 60% chance to gain a prowess buff. increasing special attack damage by 5 - 15%. Prowess buffs are removed when activating special attacks.
Cleanse buffs
When nullifying a damage overtime debuff, gain a 40 - 100% chance to gain a fury buff.
When nullifying a non-damage overtime debuff, gain a 40 - 100% chance to not lose a cleanse buff.

Synergies
I’ll put a spell on you
All champions except Adam Warlock: when reaching certain points in a fight, gain a different ability. These abilities only activate once in a fight.
100% health: gain an unblockable buff for 5 seconds
75% health: gain a true accuracy buff, granting the ability to ignore all Evade and Auto-Block effects for 10 seconds.
50% health: gain a power gain buff for 10 seconds, gaining a full bar of power
25% health: gain an indestructible buff for 5 seconds
If you start the fight with a lower amount of health, gain the abilities at the start of the fight.
Dev note: for example, let's say you have 69% health at the start of the fight. Start the fight with an unblockable buff and a true accuracy buff.

Kings of fury
Adam Warlock: when the soul stone buff expires, each fury buff lasts for 2 seconds instead of being removed automatically
Nick Fury: he can start each fight with 6 tactical advantage charges even if he is not fighting an avenger.
Star Lord: the chance to gain a fury buff is increased to 20%
Venom: start the fight with a random genetic memory buff

A soul for a soul: with Red Skull, Gamora, or Black widow on the team
All champions except Adam Warlock: if Adam Warlock is knocked out, the other champions on your team start each fight with a regeneration buff, healing 5% of missing health for 10 seconds.

No shield required: with Captain America, Captain America (WWII), or Captain America (Infinity War) on the team
All champions except Adam Warlock: if Adam Warlock is alive, the other champions start the fight with 3 perfect block buffs. Making the first 3 well timed blocks perfect blocks. 1 buff is removed for each well timed block.

Can't stop us now: with kingpin or thing on the team
All champions except Adam Warlock: if Adam Warlock is alive, whenever the other champions intercept an opponent, they have a 70% chance to go unstoppable for 2 seconds. This has a cooldown of 8 seconds.

Sorcery: The ability to tap this universe's infinite store of ambient magical energy and manipulate these to a variety of effects. A skill derived from three major sources: personal powers of the mind/soul/body, powers gained by tapping the universe's ambient magical energy and employing it for specific effects and finally, powers gained through the tapping of extra-dimensional energy by invoking entities or objects of power existing in mystical dimensions tangential to her own. The latter means of power is usually gained by the recitation of incantations.
Spells and Phrases: Agatha has a vast knowledge of mystical spells and incantations invoking names and aspects of various extra-dimensional objects and beings of power. Through these incantations, the magi are able to call upon these extra-dimensional power sources for very specific effects without taxing the personal abilities.[36]

Binding: Agatha is able to use her magic to bind her targets from moving, like she did against Master Pandemonium.[37]

Dimensional Manipulation: Agatha is capable to shape and manipulate dimensions. She is capable to shift The Town of New Salem into the Earth's dimension.[38]

Energy Projection: Harkness is able to fire mystical blast to attack her enemies.[33]

Elemental Control: Agatha Harkness has shown to be able to magically control and manipulate the elements.

Aerokinesis: Her magic allows her to manipulate the air.[38]

Electrokinesis: Her magic allows her to manipulate electricity.[39]

Hydrokinesis: Her magic allows her to manipulate water.[37]

Pyrokinesis: Her magic allows her to manipulate fire.[40]

Experience Manipulation: Agatha can manipulate the experience of herself and others. She has casted a spell that allows Steve Rogers to experience half a millennia of events from the past in an instant.[9]

Flight: As a witch, Agatha can engage in self-propelled flight.[33]

Force Field: Agatha is capable to create force field in a certain area. She has created a barrier that contains a virus that was killing the Silver Surfer from spreading through the planet.[6]

Fusionism: Harkness can merge herself and others into one, though she needs to make a mystic circle and uses incantations.[19]

Illusion Casting: Agatha Harkness has the ability to cast illusions for many purposes. She has used an illusion to disguise herself as a young beautiful woman.[41] Not only that, she can also use this ability to attack her targets[42] or to defense herself and others at the same time.[43]

Longevity: Agatha lives much longer than a normal human.

Magical Awareness: Agatha Harkness is able to sense magic and to be aware of anything that effects her and her surroundings.[44][45][46] At one point, she has even sensed Reed Richard's car alarm going off before it even happenned.[47]

Magic Negation: Agatha has the power to negate magic and nullify spells. She has depowered the Salem Seven and nullified all the spells they casted in New York.[38]

Magic Reflection: She also has the ability to reflect and deflect magical attacks back at the user, as she did against Necrodamus.[39]

Mystical Invulnerability: Agatha Harkness has resistance against mystical attacks.[48][39]

Purification: Agatha is able to purify and clean away objects or magic from evil and sins like she did after she has channeled all of the magic from the Town of New Salem.[38]

Scrying: By using her crystal ball she can view and observe people's location. She has done it to observe Reed Richard's location.[17]

Sealing: Harkness can seal or imprison person or object within another person or object as she pleases. She was able to seal a room inside Avengers Mansion that prevents Scarlet Witch and the Avengers from entering/leaving.[39]

Soul Manipulation: Agatha has demonstrated the power to animate inanimate object such as War Machine's helmet.[37] She also has resurrected herself from the dead[49] and is capable to project her astral form.[50]

Telekinesis: Agatha can use her magic to move, destroy, and manipulate objects. For example, she was capable to break metal restraints with a gesture.[37]

Telepathy: Harkness has displayed the power to manipulate, interact, and control the mind of others. She was able to mentally communicate with other person in a long distance[7] and capable to paralyze her targets completely.[11] Agatha has shown capable to read mind a large group of people in an instant while in the astral form.[50] She also has proven to be able to manipulate the memory of others on a global scale,[38], she can put anyone to sleep[51] and she can protect her mind as well as her allies from psychic force.[6]

Teleportation: Agatha has proven to be able to transport herself and others from one place to another.[52] She was able to teleport several people from another dimension at once to her location[53] and teleport away person or object from her location.[27] She was also able to open portal so that she can travel and transport from one dimension to another different dimension.[54] If it's needed, she could travel as a streak of flame.[37]

Transmutation: Harkness can transmute and turn anything into anything else. She has transmuted Sandman into stone.[11]

Voice Manipulation: Agatha Harkness has displayed the ability to manipulate voice. She has projected Reed Richard's voice across the entire planet in every language.[55]

Witch Sight: As one of the most powerful witch on the planet, Harkness can see things beyond what normal humans can such as the aimless ones.[33]

Magical Knowledge: Agatha has a vast knowledge of magic, spells, and magical items. She has been practicing magic for thousand of years and has been stated to be the most powerful witch in all of New Salem. With centuries of experience, she was able to train Scarlet Witch in sorcery, helping her to master her powers and abilities. She is currently teaching at the Strange Academy where she teaches about Illusions of Ikonn.[56]

Weaknesses

Agatha has no known fighting skills. Her old age reduces her ability to perform strenuous tasks.[2]
