Is it just me or is it harder to get gold now as we don’t really get any form the side quests or side events.

    Definitely have a gold issue myself. But my problem is i dont like arena because the payoff on gold increase is so small and i dont want to grind for hours. So its my own fault. There is always going to see like a shortage of something. Its either iso, gold or rankup mats. And if its none of those then its a complaint that there are no good champs to rank up. There will always be a limiting factor. And its different depending on your ingame habbits. Just got to plan around it.

    Right now I have too much gold and iso and I usually have to sell iso between level ups, so gold is not a problem. I do run arenas a lot which is probably why.

    I don't do arenas, i stay broke on gold, i made peace with that. You should do it too 🙂

    gold is no more or less scarce than it used to be. As you progress, you go through phases where you are iso short, and or gold short... unless you pop crystals.

    Gold shortage may become a thing again, if people need to start spending more gold for AQ tickets since loyalty is actually a limited commodity for those doing advanced wars.

    You might also take a good hit if you buy a bunch of offers that don't include much (e.g. black Friday/July 4th / Spring cleaning), as suddenly you will be ranking up several champs in a short amount of time, and if you were low on gold to begin with... you will most definitely notice.

    I think gold can be a matter of where you are at game, specifically what kind of rankups you primarily do. People keep saying do arena, but if all you do is 6 stars rankup (to include r3 and r4), gold goes insanely quick.

    I grind arena fairly decent (usually hit all milestones on top 2 arenas) and get lots of gold but I spend it just as quick. Each level up event (when I do my level and rankups) I spend a minimum of 5 million gold each times, sometimes as much as 12-15 million gold.

    Sure I could do less rankups but then those cats will expire. I'm not complaining about gold, which I spend just as quickly as I get, but hopefully trying to help others understand different progress levels can spend gold at much more accelerated rates.

    No one has to grind arena for gold. They just have to do other things for hold, or spend less gold.

    Ya I agree a very little but dis agree more. Variants, arenas, incursions and side quest all have a good amount of gold especially if you have done variants. I’m sitting on 7.5mil in gold from grinding arenas and content. If you have a lack gold that’s on you. Kabam give us the means to get gold. It up to us what we do with the opportunity at hand.

    This event is a great way to get gold. There's a ton available in the Valkyrie store, hope they do this more often
