Controls fixed, no more weekly compensation?

The fact remains this isn't "fixed" even using the "Beta" and it will be forced upon us with v35.0.1 and we would have to "opt out".

If that doesn't say it isn't fixed, I don't know what to tell you.

The fact they are ending compensation after today is a kick in the gut of all those that have stuck with Kabam for over 10 months of this issue.

If you (Kabam) end the weekly AQ/War compensation today for sure, well you won't get any more cash from me. I'll retire after this season of War too.

I believe sticking to a broken game for like 8 months or more deserves some acknowledgement and that is surely greater than the weekly aq/aw compensations they are providing, which btw is coming to an end without taking any feedback from player base and assuming in words of kabam "everything has been magically fixed with this update and u will no longer get weekly compensations thanks for nothing than staying in a broken game for 8 months"

And here on forums even after this some weird kind of "wise" people are saying to not expect big compensation even though the weekly ones are coming to an end. And Why the hell is that???

We can't expect aq/aw package to continue, we can't expect big compensation what can we expect then? More bugs, more titles behind paywall!, more miserable communication?

Just saying suppose the potions provided for aq and aw aren't enough to say someone due to these terrible bugs..whose fault is that? The players skill or the bigged games? And we barely get potions for solo content i honestly don't know why. Was the bug less on solo content and more on aq and aw?

I thought "Dorky Dave" was working with Kabam now. How is he not sticking up for the community at all? He has to know what we are all thinking and express that Kabam.

My game doesn't feel fixed at all. How can you end the weekly compensation if it is still a beta? What makes it even more disappointing is that just few days earlier you said the message was sent' too earlier creating expectations that you wouldn't end this before the fix is final. I feel let down.

Literally lost the ability to throw a heavy permanently for an entire fight yesterday. Never had that happen in the last 8 months of the game being broken (or ever). Tried soft closing and reopening, tried flipping the screen orientation, no luck. So, no, I don't think they've solved the problem entirely. Not trying to give anyone a hard time about it just saying that there is still work to do so the compensation likely shouldn't be stopping yet.

Yesterday was the absolute worst for parry in a long time. At least every fight had one or two instances of parry failing to trigger when the text prompt showed. This stuff is not fixed. Better keep those compensation packages coming.

@Kabam Miike how can the weekly compensation be over when the "fix" is still in Beta? Doesn't a beta test mean that it's not fully implemented and/or fixed yet? And to top that off the content creators in your program still say that the "fix" isn't fully ready yet, so why are you ending the compensations?

It seems silly to stop the “compensation”..it’s not really compensation but that’s for another time. They changed the parry timing and tell us that it’ll take some time to get used to it. And that we will all be forced into that later this month. So, nèw parry timing, and no more potions..doesn’t add up.

They also indicated that the Loyalty changes will take effect sometime before the Comp ends, and announced that the Loyalty will be updated with the next Season, so it's a good possibility we still have a few weeks.

I have found inputs have improved a bit maybe 10-20% fewer issues. But still inconsistent. Last night in EQ, fine, this morning in AW and EQ several missed parries and combos to the face. This is across a main account and several alt accounts. I can’t prove it but relatively confident my timing was generally consistent (within a window that should work).

But as it has been for a year - sometimes a smack to the face sometimes a block, sometimes a parry for what feels like the same reaction time. It’s the uncertainty of which of the 3 you will get that is the frustration

Still also combos where the 5th hit or ending special just don’t trigger.

As others have said I don’t really care about the AW/AQ compo, and questing packs have always been insufficient (mostly in terms of energy to re-start paths in quest that get wrecked). Just would like the game I enjoy to work now.

So declaring it largely fixed… hmmm

Realistically they should take the compensation they gave us after two months and multiple that by four and let that be the starting point. Anyone have screenshot of the comp we got back in August?

I dont think any big compo package will come our way... did they confirm that'd be the case? I was under the impression the one we got in August was it 🤷‍♂️ other than these weekly ones we've getting 🤨
They had said something a few months ago. I'm pretty sure they said that they were holding back on giving further compensation (as in compensation that isn't alliance stuff) until the whole issue was solved. Now that it is, people are expecting a pretty chunky compensation. I don't really fault anyone on thinking that, after all the input issues messed with people's ability to complete content such as SOP and Act 7 etc. But, I don't think we're gonna get something huge. Maybe a 6* nexus or two. Maybe some revives. Who really knows? If Kabam is being nice, maybe they'll just multiply that first compensation they gave us * however longer this has gone on. Anything is appreciated from me at least.

I wouldn't fault anyone either, in fact I'd agree with them that we should. I just thought the one in August was all we was getting 😂

Imagine if that was the starting point scaled for duration of the issues. In my opinion that should be a minimum expectation based on length of issue and expansive impact on the game.

For me the gameplay is ‘better’ since the beta came out but it’s not fixed. Either there are residual issues from the original parry/dex problem, or the fix has had unintended consequences that have caused other new bugs. My guess is Kabam view it as the latter and internally see it as problem solved with the parry/dex issue so no compensation needed, now it’s time to fix some ‘unrelated’ new bugs. Clearly the issue is not resolved for a large tranche of players, yes it’s better but this is a game a lot of people drop a lot of money on and the input interaction has too many errors for it be seen acceptable. I don’t feel it’s appropriate to stop the weekly compensation. At worst if you’re going to stop the compensation this week, a MASSIVE acknowledgment in game mail should be sent with a rather large Gesture Of Goodwill that includes a lot of resources to thank us for putting up with such a shoddy product for the last 10 months and sticking with Kabam.

I’m constantly having to turn off my iPad in the middle of a fight because my heavies do nothing. I just get destroyed because my champs do nothing when I try to heavy. This has been an issue for me SO MUCH more than parrying.

It is the beta inputs go to setting and disable it. Content is impossible with it running too many dropped inputs.

Thank you Gmonkey. I will try that. I appreciate the advice.
