EoP rewards are hot garbage

Absolutely not worth grinding out paragon like I did, absolute joke. Does anyone else feel this way

These rewards are fine.. for 2021 Meta.

These are worse than SoP for TBs and have not been adjusted for the changing in ease of getting certain materials for Paragon at this point.

The amount of Sig Stones are paultry when compared to SoP one year ago... And, again - we are a year *LATER* in the game. Meaning the great rewards from last year does not mean they are great rewards for current year and Meta.

It's not a good look at all and shows that Paragon was rushed in another way in addition to:

1) Sigil Giod quest missing for 2 weeks already

2) Sigil Black ISO store didn't discount Featured 6-Star crystal purchase from 13K to 11K like it has for every other progression when the Featyred started at 13K.

3) These rewards.

Unless the quarterly rewards arebuodated and *increased* each time, then this is not a good look or rewards for a progressing game. Period.

But that's one Opinion, of some irrelevant guy who plays this game and competes at top level. You'd think I'd be grateful right? But I'm honest with my thoughts and you don't have to agree. Just offer reasons why you don't agree that aren't just "you're lazy/ungrateful/whatever else you want to call me" but valid reasons.

Youre getting less sig stones but 75% more r4 mats for less work. Today's fight is a cakewalk. Last I knew, sig stones can't R4 champions.

I will say. They need to increase t4cc by a ton for paragon now. There are 2 t5cc of our choosing for each iteration. Times that by 4 and we have 8 total t5cc.

Gold quest missing? What a joke. Who has resources to have 4th and 5th R4 champs missing 300k gold? Are you kidding?
2k 6 star shards for 2 weeks is so big problem for P2W players? Lol

But still rewards are garbage. And huge BS is that fact that P2W players can collect 23 points and TB can not cause the title is new and THERE’S NO RESOURCES in game content to get this title. The only reaction is 🤦‍♂️. keep disappointing us, you're doing it well

I’m not trying to get a “gotcha” moment here, just interested about what you think.

SoP was 9 weekly fights, then 6 paths of 3 fights, so 18 more fights, 6 of which were the grandmaster.

EoP is 4 weekly fights, then 4 more fights.

Assuming they’re the same relative difficulty for TBs now compared to Paragon now, don’t you think that explains the difference in rewards? 27 fights vs 8 fights?

At the end of the day the rewards are a little bit of a trap. I don’t mean that KB is trying to trick us, it’s just sort of the same thing that happened with spring cleaning. There is a lure introduced, with 75% Of the rewards a TB player could possibly care about on the other side of the paragon line. I admit when I initially saw those this event took on an air of almost desperation, realizing I had to complete it to acquire those, only then to quickly realize that wasn’t for me. That took an enormous amount of the pressure off of the event, but re-established the pressure at acquiring paragon.

At this point for me it’s more matter of weathering those “trap” moments that might compel me into excessive spending, and just getting back to whichever part of the game I actually enjoy. Which again then just asks the question, will I actually enjoy this event?

That’s awesome. Big congratulations will be in order when you make it. Keep in mind that EoP isn’t the only way to get the resources. As the year goes in there will undoubtedly be more opportunities along the way.

Yeah of course you can mate, but you didn't just say "the rewards are lame", it seems like you judged the rewards based on whether you could get paragon after them and you're saying the rewards are bad because you can't get paragon from them. That seems hypocritical because you told people not to judge the announcement of paragon because they couldn't get it.

If you say, "Your account won't explode or get deleted if you don't get paragon day 1", why can it not be applied to "your account won't explode or get deleted if you don't get paragon after EoP?
That’s true, I do think the rewards suck but not just because I won’t be able to get paragon afterwards.

If you truly have all content done, what's stopping you from getting the 10k offer on the 18th?

I wouldn't call t5cc rare. At least for where I'm at. Sitting on nearly 800% worth in crystals.

They're still pretty rare. I know the ceiling has been raised, but they're still more rare than others. Fair enough, though.

I think the rewards are reasonable to be honest. They’re not mind blowing but they’re going to close the prestige gap for those who are savvy with their sig stones and the gulf between TB & Paragon isn’t light years which was my initial fear. It’s double but that double is only 0.5 R4 across a year and unless V2,3 and 4 have increased rewards I think that a lot of lower budget/F2P end game players will probably slip into Paragon by V3 at the latest as R4 materials become more readily available.

Mate, nobody’s looking down on you. Do the content, get the title. May not be today or tomorrow or this month, but that’s the way the game works. If you haven’t done all the content, then you’ve got other stuff you can do.

For so long people called Thronebreaker an absolute cash grab because the only way to get a full t5cc was in Abyss, and then it was all RNG and nobody wanted to do Abyss and on and on and on. But all the people complaining got there eventually. This will be the same.

It depends on how hard the other fights are. CB was pretty easy, just had annoying AI. IF they're all around the same level, the rewards are about right.

Nice try but If I remember correctly, the 6 paths of 3 fights were not part of the milestone rewards, but had there own set of rewards. Whereas the gauntlet, or 1 path of 4 fights is now part of tbe milestones.

So that makes it 9 fights vs 8 fights. Now, lets add in the fact that there are gonna be objectives that will probably make you fight the week 5 gauntlet multiple times (but to be easy on Kabam, we'll just assume you'll have to go through it only twice).
Now it's 12 fights vs 8 fights.

These rewards are nowhere near as good as last year's SOP milestones and depending on week 5 and its objectives may be much more costly.

SOP's rewards were so good and fit the meta at that time. These rewards are nowhere near as appealing.

Thronebreakers are in a class war with Paragons in the same way the people third in line at Target are in a class war with the people at the front of the line.

I guess the question now is, how do you compare the rewards 1:1. Compare the top rewards of each one since that’s what the highest progression can get? Or compare what a TB can get last time compared to this time?

Assuming the “worse” comparison, as in, lower rewards this time compared to the top last time. Let’s take TB highest this time compared to last.

6* nexus same
T5CC 50% —> 125%
Sig stones 75 —> 20
T6B 17500 —> 42750
T3A 6750 —> 22500

I’d say it’s a relative slight improvement in all but the sig stones. The sig stones is a massive bummer, going from 75 to 20, when stones haven’t changed value at all.

T5CC is pretty abundant, so it doesn’t feel like that much of an increase.

T6B increasing by a factor of 2.4 and T3A increasing by 3.33 is ok, but I feel a lot of that increase is lost in the time since SoP. If this were released 6 months ago, amazing! Now? It’s not quite underwhelming, but it’s… whelming?

I think the thing is, we have SoP and those rewards were mind blowingly good, or at least really exciting. And now, proportionately, these EoP rewards are, yeah? Pretty good? But not anything to get incredibly excited about.

When you compare it to paragon, it’s kind of a different story, but since there are so few paragons compared to how many TBs there were it’s not exactly the same as SoP.

Paragon sees a 3.3 increase of T6B, and a 6.7 increase of T3A. That’s clearly a much more noticeable shift. Though the sig stones still take a hit, only going up to 30.

Hopefully, this is just the first round and after this one they bump up. But your post has definitely changed my outlook on the rewards. I thought they were decent, but not mind blowing before. Now I think they’re eh. If they didn’t get me within two Carina LoL challenges of paragon I don’t think I’d be as hyped about them.

Get ready to further change your mind though. Your comparison, below, is a bit off. We were actually given 200% T5CC last time. Enough t5cc for the highest title to take 2 6*s to what was currently the highest rank attainable. Paragons, the highest title now, get only a third of the rank up mats to take up the current highest rank attainable. Wouldnt expect to be able to take 2 up but maybe 1 or at least two thirds of 1.
