Hercules or Doom as 1st r4??

Whom would you take up as your 1st r4 given the choice between two and why? Both can decimate lanes and bosses and are prestige kings.

Quite obvious choice. Hercules.

R4 Doom does well what he does at R3 , just the bragging rights make the major difference . Attack and health increase are minor.

Hercules . You want to maximise his damage potential and want those big yellow red numbers to even get bigger with more critical damage.
When he is at 1% unblockable phase , You will surely prefer a R4 herc over a R3 herc anyday as you wanna maximise that damage. Specials damage gets a major boost with rank increase.

PS : I have considered Hercules to be duped in my comment as I consider the dupe to essential , It makes the biggest difference.

If you run Suicides with any regularity, it is a no brainer.

If you don’t run suicides at all, then it’s probably more 50/50 and you should go with whoever you enjoy the most.

While I would do Herc, having that extra power gain from an increase in level would help Doom’s Doom cycle.

Fun fact, diablo actually benefits more from the r4 than Doom.

My only 2 R4 are Doom and Hercules. Hercules benefit more as an R4 than Doom.
