Rogue or Magento vs Crossbones

I have the resources to R4 Rogue for taking down 6.1.5 Crossbones finally. I dont think the changes to Act 6 will help drastically in the fight so is it still worth ranking her over taking Magento to R5?

I could also Awaken either of them.

    Magneto will help you overall but rogue maybe better for this fight. Do you think you can get it done with 30% champion boost with greater attack and greater health boost and r3 rogue and then rank up magneto?

    Doing it with Rogue can also help u with one of the Carina's challenge but u need to make sure ur entire team is made of specified champions only
    But since it's ur Completion run, I guess currently u don't care about Carina's
    I don't exactly remember the fight but I think u get the poison inflicted at start of the fight
    Which means Magneto will die of poison bcoz the poison will be inflicted before Magnetism triggers
    Also it's very tough to reach Sp3 with Mags in that fight so u need to rely on Sp2, which can also work but not as fast as a big fat Sp3
    I'd advise u to wait or go with Mags with a few revives & points in willpower mastery
    May be some synergies to reduce poison damage can help a lot
    Doing it with Rogue is something I don't advise unless u care about Carina's challenges or are good with using Rogue, bcoz it'll be hard, specially with a R4

    Thank you. i'm going to go on a scouting run and boost her at R3 and see how i go. I've seen people do it in 400 hits with an R3 but i dont know whether my skill is up to that. We'll see.

    Does she need to be awakened and is it better to awaken her over Magneto

    I did. My point being doesn't matter if he cares for carina or not, he won't get anything for doing it with rogue team.

    FIrstly thank you for your reply. The issue is the node that means you dont gain your own power so you generally spam SP1, which is why rogue might be better for this fight. Re-starting the fight activates his Arc Overload although i can counter that with Mags and the brotherhood synergy.

    I did. My point being doesn't matter if he cares for carina or not, he won't get anything for doing it with rogue team.
    I'll just be happy to get through this fight as i dont have many counters out of the almost 50 5* i have. Most of them i acquired 3+ years ago before i quit so dont have many newer champs.

    Neither really needs it. You can save the gem for now. With rogue, you just need to be able to survive the initial poison and keep spamming sp1’s to steal his regen and also to heal up. It will be a long fight but easy to solo. I used r4 rogue for the whole quest for one of the Carina challenges and finished CB fight with 100% health.

    Thanks. I'll try and boost my R3 as a trial and see how i got i have 500 ish units saved and can get there without reviving.
