Mordo buff not working?

I probably am reading this wrong, but I thought you were supposed to gain fury buffs. A few fights in Arena I noticed I couldn’t gain Furies by doing so…?

Am I just playing him wrong?

I meant to say, you are supposed to gain Fury by holding his heavy and I was doing so with no results. Am I understanding this incorrectly?

It was arena, I can’t remember who. What can keep the Fury from activating? I’ll look for it next time.

Fate seal for one. But there could be other things

I tried him out in Practice mode and had no problem gaining any fury buffs. As others have said, it's likely the defender that screwed something up for you somehow.

Mephisto would be another one that would stop it at least at the start of the fight

Why taskmaster? If you are thinking of AAR, mordo is immune to passive AAR.
