A unicorn they put on roadmap to encourage ppl to spend on July 4th. Can't wait for it to be re-announced b4 this year July then no mod ever mentions about it again for a year.

I can only imagine somewhere in Kabam HQ there is a conference room somewhere with a giant whiteboard with the word "Bases" crossed out and underneath someone wrote "Wish Crystals".

How are they supposed to work? I wish for a 6* Hercules and get a 3*?

The idea of the Wish Crystal is a pool of champions that the player populates. So, for example, you have a 30 champion pool Wish Crystal, so you get to pick any 30 champions in the game to compose that group.

The problem that I believe exists with this technology is server clutter. We know that Kabam’s servers get bogged down when there are too many types of crystals existing in game. It’s why they periodically go through and automatically open old crystal types that players might be holding onto. The Wish Crystal creates an exponential leap in the difficulty of that problem.

There are countless different possible iterations of the Wish Crystal, and the odds of any two players populating the same 30 champions are infinitesimally small. Which means we’re talking about creating thousands upon thousands of new types of crystals for the game to keep track of out of thin air. If you think you have gameplay issues now, you can’t imagine the kind of havoc that would wreak.

They may be working towards a solution to this problem, or it may not be a problem at all. But this is my guess based on the information we have available.

Still in the category of something we wish for...then just go back to grind and hope to be surprised one day out of the blue when they are introduced.

Instead of a Wish Crystal tailored specifically to each summoner, let’s have the community vote on a pool of champions in the crystal. Offer this Community Wish Crystal in all the sought after flavors (Cav, Cav nexus, 5*, 6*) for X amount of months then vote again for a new pool.

When it comes to voting, champions have to be in the standard pool already. Have half the champions come from the last 18 months and the other half everything older than that. Also champions can’t be in consecutive Community Wish Crystals so there’s some variety.
