What exactly is the punishment for using mods and hacking in the game?

There are a number of modders and hackers within the game, with unrealistic progress and otherwise who have outright admitted to it, yet all they get for using mods is a week ban and no progress reset?

This should definitely be harsher, to discourage people, since any new player can now use mods without any long term detriment to their account.

There is a dude who hangs out in global who has the in game name "hacker modder" or something extremely similar. He has the abyss 100% of but r3 5 stars are his best champs and he openly admits to modding (literally named his account for doing it).

His entire alliance are modded hack accounts, about 20 of them. I thought kabam would've handled it since it's so obvious but he's had these accounts and that alliance for about 6 months now and I see him in global on one his modded accounts daily.

Kabam is dropping the ball ridiculously bad on this issue.

Not to forget about the dude that recorded himself modding Abyss for 8 months on youtube, and still to this day hasn’t been banned. (Ghost)

The penalty for modding or mercing the Abyss is supposed to be more than a one week normal time out. If they are telling the truth in global, they might be getting a visit from the ban-fairy soon.
