**RESOLVED ISSUE WITH SIDE QUEST KEYS**
The game team has resolved this issue. Keys will be distributed via in-game messages and the quest timer will be extended.
More information and timeline here.
*This includes currently unclaimable keys as well*
**WINTER OF WOE - BONUS OBJECTIVE POINT**
As previously announced, the team will be distributing an additional point toward milestones to anyone who completed the Absorbing Man fight in the first step of the Winter of Woe.
This point will be distributed at a later time as it requires the team to pull and analyze data.
The timeline has not been set, but work has started.

Science / Skill counters Dormmamu without much trouble (Eg. Spider-verse, CapIW).
Science / Skill also seem to be good against Blade (Eg. BWDO, CapIW).

The two tricky bosses would be:
Crossbones would require a Bleed immune/shrugger Science / Skill champion.
Ikaris doesn't seem to have a science / skill counter that readily comes to mind.
  • I'm thinking Nimmy, BWCV, and BWDO for team one, then team 2 will replace BWCV with maybe prof x, or if they fix KG in time, swap nimmy with KG. This way I get max rewards for TB and ignore an objective

Wouldn't a high rank Nick Fury just juke Ikaris before that detonation becomes an issue
Then Fury should also be able to take down Blade fairly quickly
Guillotine 2099 cn do both Cbones & Dormmamu
Without Tech run is what I'm worried about bcoz I gotta come up with a good Dormmamu counter & Cbones counter

Hercules got me 6 points. Now I just have to pick 3 of any non cosmic class and get the final point

2 most specific opponents are Ikaris and Crossbone. My team is Prof X (Ikaris and Blade), Omega Red (CB and Blade) and Spider Ham (Dorm).
That would give me 4 points in 1 run and I would reach 16 pts in total. Just finished Crossbone itemless with OR. I will continue tmr.

I'm gonna bring in Sentinel, Spider-Ham and Shang-Chi

    Ham from Ikaris, Dormammu
    Sentinel for CB
    and Shang-Chi for Blade

Any suggestions for doing it with this lot? Need 5 for 16 (didn't do one of the ikaris ones first time round) so thinking of trying to do it in one go.

I’m thinking Dragon Man, BWCV and She-Hulk.

Used this team, covered all necessary Thronebreaker objectives.
    Xbones - dragon man
Ikaris - dragon man (avoid sp2)
    Blade - miles cheese
    Dorm - spider ham

EDIT: this doesn't cover all objectives but not all objectives are necessary, you can skip one objective and still reach the max milestone in the rewards for Thronebreaker. Doin all objectives will give you 17 points but 16 is enough for the milestone.

If you want to try and do it all in 1 go with Skill and Science champs, I think that you could use Mole Man for the Crossbones if you play very very well. Bring a Hit Monkey for Blade, Spider-Ham for Dormammu, and honestly just power through the Ikarus with what you have

I’m using a team of Fury, CAIW and Jabari Panther.

Solo’d Xbones using Jabari. Onto Ikaris with Fury and then CAIW for Blade and Dormamu.

Ran it with a full mutant team (prof x, apoc and colossus). Spent 4 revives but was able to get all but 1 of the objectives, which was enough to get me the max milestone for TB

Aegon is going to struggle to beat the bleeds against CB at the beginning. Having any luck with him?

This was my team, as a TB it does all but cosmic objective (enough to get all milestones)

4 solos which I’m super happy with, Ikaris got hairy I was in immortality for longer than comfortable. Jabari was amazing for Xbones, 2 sp3s for the perma hunt charges then spam sp1 occasionally the DAAR debuff sticks and you apply more bleeds.

Miles cheeses blade, and Herc does awesome for Dorm. Just heavy counter when you can, wait out footloose when you need to.

Just for fun I’m gonna do the other objective with Tigra, warlock and Negative later.

What is the strategy of Herc against Ikaris?

I was considering Ronan just for the Ikaris cheese, but since Herc can do both Ikaris and Dorm I might try that.

Only use MM or heavies, let him get 1 or 2 energise to make baiting specials easier.

Don’t bait heavies, he will light your block and get energise.

Heavy counter his specials, dash in and do MM. Use your sp1 almost the whole fight.

You can use sp2 for the kill, but make sure he doesn’t have protection, and be aware he will go unstoppable if you do stun him after sp2.

MSD has a pretty good vid on the tactic I used.

Ran Diablo, Dragon Man, Miles. Would swap out Miles for Kingpin and have poison passives on Diablo. DM for Crossbones, Diablo deals with everything else. Gets 4 points for TBs and the 16 point milestone if you completed all other weeks.

As a Thronebreaker, I'll be using:

    Dragonman - Crossbones
    Claire - Ikaris
    Miles - Blade
    Claire - Doom

I'm surprised CV/Dragon man/spam team hasn't been mentioned yet. If you're a TB like me with 12 points, one run with this team should get you to the 16 point limit of TBs.
    Dragon man cheeses xbones
    CV for Ikaris
Dragon man is surprisingly good for blade
    Spam for Dorm.
I used 10ish revives but solos are definitely possible in every fight.

Not really needed since Claire can also solo Dorm.

Hey big guy πŸ™‚ was thinking see what combo I can get to on xbones, then think about reviving through him to get to 100 combo, which gives me a nuke option for dorm and blade.

Shulk may work for Icarus if I can get the heavy spacing right, to avoid detonate.

Not sure moleman will work on xbones, as can't really block to reduce monster mass.

    Could take ihulk for dorm.

Icarus without a mystic, which I need to do, is going to be painful...

Can Dragon Man deal with Ikaris? What's the rotation?

I have a question; do we still get 1 point for just completing it? If so, then I can skip one of the challenges for TB and still get 16 points.
