His fury buffs are lowering your defensive ability accuracy which is affecting the ability to land a parry, a defensive ability.

Pikolu

Crossbones lowers defensive ability accuracy 25% per fury buff he has. So once he is at 4 furies, you won't land a parry unless you're using Longshot. Longshot ups his ability accuracy by 300%. Alternatively you'll need someone like Archangel who is immune to ability accuracy reduction if you want to consistently parry.
