At this point I’m done. I play 3 accounts and whale out at over 1 k a pop every July 4th as well as helping my son with a considerable amount. Guess what? My wallet is closed. I’m tired of empty promises from kabam and the other guys who shell out big time on their 2 biggest sales days need to get on board too. They’ll either fix the game when their wallets get hit or shut it down.
I think July 4 spending will show what people think about the game. I know alliance mates are I are not keen to spend.
Whales will still spend thousands of dollars just because they are addicted ..and this is why Kabam doesn't care about anything ..all they care about is greens in your wallet and they get it during every sale .
I am not sure I have 5 r4 like many whales and unless you have omega sentinel no point ranking up. Even then just an 11 point increase in prestige if you were top 5 aq maybe but many of those are maxed already. I think spending will be lower game is worse than the overheating issue years ago.
Careful. You can’t mention the “overheating” issue.
I sure hope they send something out soon. The game isn’t performing any better for me and my alliance mates. Lots don’t check the forums so to them, it just seems like Kabam is just burying their heads In the sand and pretending there are no issues.
This has caused the fall of my alliance were p4 last war back to 18 now... alliance closing next season
I don’t understand how you can set the standard of giving compensation for a crippling issue, then discontinue that new standard while the issue persists. The game is worse than ever right now.

we too are disbanding the ally after EOP rewards are dropped, bored and frustrated ☹
Yeah it’s been a frustrating 8 months, only really made ok because of the compo, but really it’s sucked the fun out of it, now trying to pass this shambles off as fixed, and the blatant monetisation of potions, I’ll be walking from 6 years In the game if it isn’t actually fixed soon

You're exactly right! But it won't last much longer by no means. They can continue to spend on a broken game that will never be fixed. All it's doing is giving them a false pretense that people will spend money and accept this behavior in the long run!
Consider it like ciagrettes .. people know it's harmful but they smoke daily just because they are addicted and even if 1 cigarette starts costing 50$ , people will still buy it because they are addicted . It's a vicious cycle that will continue in long run as well.
Who’s disagreeing, my swipe backs run forwards sometimes, I’ve got sticky feet bug every fight, dex works about 70% and block works about 95% it’s not a functioning game right now; no chance I would have still been here after 8 months if it wasn’t for the other 5 years invested, nobody wants compo, we want a functioning game, and until that’s delivered compo makes more sense than no compo

Yeah I’ve been playing since it’s launch date but, I am about to walk away myself. If I felt like kabam actually gave 2 ***** I might stick around but they keep sticking us up the *** and asking if it feels good is what it feels like.
Kabam pulled the carpet out from under us and the game has absolutely gotten even worse (somehow). How do they expect people to invest their hard earned money into a game that doesn’t actually work?!?! July 4th is less than a month away, and I’m not planning on dropping a dime at this point.

I had to change Ally’s mid season for similar reasons… gotta wonder who pervasive this issue of ally’s failing apart is
Change in management who only values money and doesn't care for the consumer.. offers don't do much because the idea is to make people spend more money, with a buggy game, it force you to spend units or revive or potions.. and/or get more units to purchase resources.. sooner than later even big spending consumer will notice the tactic and stop spending.. which will cause lower earning and game closure.. I have a realistic and bleak outlook with what's happening.. sorry but kabam needs to sort these issues out.. the control fix is not 100%.. its maybe 60:40 (but with aggressive or passive AI, 60% is not good enough), game hangs and takes considerably long load times, overheating in some device and champion abilities suddenly changed (its a bug, but why was the description changed as well) the notbworking as intended (if it benefits kabam, will not be priority but if benefits summoners, it will be fixed asap). Almost forgot the never ending connection issue icon that keeps popping up.. even with stable Wi-Fi (does not affect other games, just mcoc)
I guess I have expressed most of what we all are aware of.
Honestly, I can’t support the current state of things with any July 4 spend. Playing on a solid connection today and I’ve suddenly lost my last shred of faith that the team can make it better—ever.
One saving grace is that there is at least a banner on the main forums page that calls out some of the issues we have come to expect for the past twelve months (which doesn’t heal up my champs or compensate for bonkers AI, but it is a tiny improvement).
Course correction is needed promptly for both the game mechanics and the team’s approach to dealing with the effect of consistent malfunctions on the community.
It is ok I spent my July 4 money already. Toward a gravel bike. I am retiring on my alt after season. May do the same on my main, as the game interferes too much with life and is no longer enjoyable with the problems makes me frustrated and angry. The sad fact is that july 4 spending will drop and that will mean less money to fix the game, meaning more bugs. It has been a fun ride, but the fun is gone.
I bike a lot,.. you were planning on dropping a lot of money on July 4th if you invested in a gravel bike 😂😂😂. Welcome to the club i invested in a nice road bike and haven’t looked back. @Gmonkey
I would not be surprised if the new management has given little/limited autonomy to whoever is left running MCOC.. probably the staff are given walking papers and new people (employees from acquisition company are taking over control) even if they don't know squat about the MCOC gaming system. another scenario I can think of is once the game is fixed, the acquisition will let go the original developers and programmers in lieu of their own staff.
That is what happens when there is a consolidation or acquisition of another company.. the staff from acquired business is let go or given less authority on the direction unless otherwise reviewed by by new bosses.
Would love to hear from the Mods on this thread considering it is universally agreed upon. I love when such a thread exists and they decide not to address it...
Before this update, I felt like i barely noticed any bugs at all. Now though, I can barely play due to disconnections etc. Makes doing any alliance events taxing, ive died numerous times in war cause of it, and altogether ive just stopped doing arena because of it.
Compensation packages need to start again, especially for war and the amount of potions i have to use due to horrible inputs.
It's amazing they cannot respond or even keep us in the loop about compensation and the state of the game but when I created a don't spend on 4th of July thread it was taken down and immediately responded to by kabaam within 20 minutes
I co-sign this message 100% right now. I can't remember the game being this buggy across the board in awhile. Weekly compensation should be started again and after that we should still receive a big compensation for all our troubles/loyalty to this game.
For the past week I played sporadically on what I assumed was bad WiFi at a VRBO.
Returning home, I don’t think the issue was the WiFi.
Timing is just an absolute mess on basic mechanics. How does one even know if it’s the refractor causing the issue or one of the major issues highlighted by the forums banner? Or something else?
I realize everyone is chattering about the “big” apology package, but the current game state should carry its own category of relief as well.
I wanted to communicate that we've had discussions about the cost and frustrations players have faced due to the energy refill/dimming bug. There are ongoing conversations surrounding how to appropriately provide relief for all summoners.
This will be separate from the future compensation package for the ongoing input issues.
I know it's just a nugget, but it's all I know at this time. We will be communicate this info to the entire community once we have concrete information.

I like this game very much. During the last 7 years I did it all and the more challenging the game was, the more I enjoyed it. But now... Passion is gone. I don't remember the last time I had a normal fight without getting hit because my champion either decide to:
- refuses to dash back and eat a full combo - get his block broken. - launches a heavy during a combo - launches a special and got parried or not launching a special at all
As a result, I stopped to complete Act 7, stopped doing wars and moved to an AQ5 only alliance. I'll try but I'm pretty sure I will not be able to do Eternity of Pain Week 5 without consuming a lot of revives. And while I watch videos on youtube I keep saying: "Damn, I'm one of those kind of good players, be patient". But then you play your game and you get hit, frustration increases, patience runs out.
I feel that the previous compensation packages were for a completely different issue, which has been fixed, current issues are different and definitely need addressing with more than a hot fix, but it's a different set of issues. Currently I am playing fine for the most part, but cannot scroll through my many, many champs without near constant freezing. I mean it scrolls through maybe one or one and a half rows and then freezes, and then recognises the final moment of the last part of my input, and opens up a champ's info, which is extremely frustrating, bordering on game breaking. I want something, but the prior comp packages were geared towards a different issue.

Thanks Jax, really appreciate the update. Even small pieces of information like this goes a long way in acknowledging its still being worked on

Just to make sure.. its not JUST the dimming problem.. its the memory leak.. its the laggy, choppy, game... Inputs being drop a LOT, devices overheating... The dimming is the least of our problems
The input issue was never really fixed and by the company just pretending like it was only angers the player base more. 10 of our 30 members from a long time p2/3 alliance have already given their notice to the alliance that they will be leaving after the end of this season because the problems are too costly and the solution that was given is not really a solution. Those revives and pots sent out each week went a long way to at least minimize the pain we were feeling with the input issues especially in aq and aw. I have alliance mates trying to dash back and they run right into the defender. I’ll try to block and just stand there like I forgot what I was doing. Now when those issues happen that are out of our control it costs us more than most are willing to pay. Here’s a great example. My capiw has 38,216 health. If the inputs drop in aq which they have quite a bit. Here’s what it cost for me to get him back from something that I couldn’t control. Revive - 280 Glory (that’s 4K health) lvl 4 pots - 260 Glory (9500 health). So I need the revive and 4 pots to get him back because of an issue from the game itself. That’s 1320 glory every single time this happens or start throwing away those units. The same case can be made for war too.

The company Kabam is super lame
Some on forum will still lick kabam's ***
