I know you've already talked about it, but this seems really ridiculous to me. What's the point of waiting? How is it possible that the platform is so archaic? As a player, if I complete all the objectives of a mission, I want immediate access to my rewards.

I agree, waiting after you reach the max milestone is unprecedented. Not like every 3 day event that has existed in the game for years…

The wait is long but it’s nothing new. If they gave out the rewards now then those that got all the milestones would get their rewards weeks before those that were not able to complete them all, that doesn’t seem a much better situation. The store idea that was suggested sounds amazing but otherwise it is unlikely that they are able to make any changes that would alienate a significant part of the player base. At least this way we all get our rewards at the same time for the work that we did.

1. It has already been explained many times how peak milestones work and why they exist.

2. The idea that this is "archaic" is silly: the games industry has not been inventing faster ways to award rewards over the years. When you get the rewards is a design decision, not an archaic limitation.

3. The devs have already stated that they have reviewed ideas for awarding rewards differently in future iterations of EoP..

4. Who exactly are you competing against in Eternity of Pain?

5. Patience is not only a virtue, it is a trait explicitly rewarded for in the game. Impatience is generally taxed. Self restraint is just as much of a valuable skill as dexing is. And at the moment, a more reliable skill as well.

Gauntlet gave immediate rewards and was structured with off ramps and chests to provide incremental rewards. You’re referring to SOP.

You do realise that If you claim the rewards and then become paragon and complete extra objectives you would be able to "double claim rewards". So yeah that doesnt seem fair plus we are all waiting the 20 days.
