dude how do you make any rankup decisions if you don't read or watch anything on the champion lol. I'm guessing you also have cyclops at r3 because you have no idea if he's good or not
Sure, yes that’s exactly my situation.

I can see this getting bad-tempered and closed quite quickly since some people are obviously annoyed and other people are determined to be self-righteous/get a rise out of others.

Listen I don't want to this to become bad tempered. I have a moleman at rank 3, he's still going to be extremely good. You're missing out on 1% of the stuff he used to be able to do with true strike and frenzy up. It'll likely mean you finish fights 20 seconds slower and that's about it. His dmg is still really good outside of frenzy if you need to keep up the evade counter. Trust me this shouldn't be a big deal and no one should get too worked up over this.

No, it wasn't. This bug happened after the buff went live and has been acknowledged by Kabam for a long time.

So I read in the release notes for the next update that you are going to heavily nerf moleman. He's been out for how long? 2 years now? Now you decide that keeping true strike while activating frenzy under 10 monster mass is a bug??? And you "fix it"? This is nuts! I ranked him up specifically because of how he works. Not being able to fight in frenzy if I need true strike makes him too damn slow and I don't wanna use him anymore. Is kabam going to issue rank down tickets? Because mine is a rank 3 6 star at the moment. Ah! Not to mention, he won't be useful for the carina's challengers abyss run. Which of course I have yet to do. But many others have completed the challenge with the help of mole man. This is very wrong on so many levels.

dont support a game that changes things that aren't broke after 2 years and does fix things that are broke! maybe if you didnt want to make people mad your should have worked to fixed things earlier not 2 year later...why fix a champ 2 years later.if you changed it earlier no one would have any issues...the champ isnt working as intended... if you change it a long time after no we deserve an explaination why you changed it especially after you just made us feel like we wasted items and money towards ranking up the champ

Chiro u know that when Moleman was released, he worked exactly the way like he is after the patch notes. It’s not like Moleman has been this way from the start. It got bugged and now it’s fixed. That’s about it.

I still want that 6* version so bad for his shrugging ability and huge crits/bleeds. But I solely used him in act 7 for that true accuracy while in frenzy. I don’t know how usable he will be in endgame content anymore. This is more upsetting because the gameplay style will require you to not get hit into your block, which is ever more challenging because of the consistent bugs and gameplay issues

Edit: Also I just went after him for the skill nexus after EOP, pretty diabolical of you guys to release this the day after we got to choose our nexus 😂

I’ve never used him solely as an evade counter. His true accuracy always seemed like a nice bonus to me rather than a feature

In combination with his actual abilities for the past 16 months it’s easy to get confused and believe that it only gets removed above 10 monster mass. I’m sure there are also significant numbers of people playing the game in an second or third language.

It has been two years since the champion entered the game, has already received a buff, it makes no sense to take away this accurate attack skill while in frenzy, he already has the restriction of keeping the right attack below 10 monstrous loads, so leave the mole as it is, or provide us with a relegation ticket.

What? What is confusing about “when frenzy is not active”? It’s either active or not, completely a black and white situation. Claiming an inability to read/comprehend that is pretty disingenuous

The issue is twofold.

First:
The issue has been around over a year after his buff and people have ranked and played him from that ability. Blame it on whomever you want, but it doesn't negate the fact that is why he was used and ranked for some.
The way many read it as it stated above was if you are ABOVE 10 When you enter Frenzy, the True Accuracy is removed. It never said "when activated".

Second:
This was the same compared to Kamala Kahn Ms. Marvel where she used to nulify buffs and instead of going the route of "fixing the bug",
Kabam simply added the line to her abilities.

Kabam had set precedent for how these type of situations should be handled based on that situation with Ms. Marvel Kahn.

This is the issue for me an others too.

What's the reasoning here? That's what I'm curious about. Because, whether it's a long-standing bug or an intended feature, what exactly has having this ability on Moleman done to justify removing it now? Is he breaking some level of content I'm not aware of? Messing with the balance of the game? I use him regularly as a 5/65 and, as useful as he is, I've never felt he was game-breaking. Certainly not in the way Quake or Ghost can be, and certainly not useful across as much content as a Doom or Hercules.

He's done it for about a year and four months, it was always a bug if you actually read his description, no you shouldn't get rank down tickets.
Many recent games don’t last that long. Anyone playing for the past sixteen months who doesn’t frequent the forums or YouTube (probably the majority of the play base) would have no idea this was an alleged bug and would be justified in feeling somewhat cheated.
Can those people read? Because if they read his abilities they'd have known

TBF There was a whole slew of threads debating whether what was in his description was being read and interpreted correctly when it first came up (ie could he get/keep the true accuracy depending on when he gained the monster masses above 5 etc). There are quite a few champ descriptions that can be interpreted in more than one way, and his true accuracy was not the clearest to interpret for everyone because the description said he couldn't gain it..but what if he already had it before that situation arose? Clearly a line should've explicitly stated he would also lose any true accuracy already active to make it explicit.

Now I have no skin in the game - still don't have a 6* MM myself, but I can see why some people would be upset now. I can't recall this bug ever being officially confirmed as something that was going to be fixed by any kabam staff given how long it was in the champ kit, so to have it fixed now with no real warning I can see why people are upset.

I dont agree with RDT requests as the change isn't major (he still has true accuracy just not always active) and fixing this bug was always a possibility, but I can see both sides of the argument.

I wouldn't rag on them too much and imply they are illiterate. It should've been cleared up long before now - other bugs (major & minor) have been fixed in much shorter time spans.

This is what I thought as well. I didn't realize there was a bug. I watched at least two different videos to understand his abilities more thoroughly before ranking him up to R3 and this is how they explained it too (not at all mentioning it was a bug). I'm not saying it's anyone else's fault other than my own for relying on this understanding. I'll just say I'm glad I didn't take him to R4 yet.

It’s implied that when he enters frenzy, the true accuracy goes with it, but it doesn’t directly state that the true accuracy is done when he enters frenzy. That’s the confusing bit. And since it’s worked for so long, players don’t see it as a bug and as a feature. Kabam should’ve taken this into the account the moment this bug was recognized. Know how many people probably chose him in a nexus over someone else who would now have more value? The rank ups unaware of the issue we apparently as supposed to be all aware of? The damage has been done though, and it does make sense that the true accuracy should expire when he enters frenzy, but this should’ve been taken care of and tested before giving it out to the player base as a completed champion. Compensation would be complicated to deal out, and I’d find it rather annoying asking for it, but rank down tickets for an ongoing issue that surpassed a year should be issued out. That’s only fair.

This is a bit like the AA- not-a-bug bug.... that then got fixed. And come to think of it I recall the MM bug being addressed eventually on here, and it was said they would leave him as-is.
