I did not read this thread so forgive my ignorance. But i did just R3 this guy and one of the biggest reason was the true accuracy during frenzy while maintaining less than 10 mass. It was fun to do and so effective. Very dissapointed in the nerf regardless of if it was never intended or not. I dont come here often so I never knew it was a bug which is on me. But it didnt seem game breaking enough where it cant be part of his kit

Nerfing a champ after a year plus? Certainly is Kabams right… but folks have ranked up him based on what he CAN do. Now Kabam wants to remove that ability? Fine. Rank down tickets are required then. I just took him to r3 with cats that are extremely rare (for me). I’ll rank him down to r2 in favor of another

While y’all communicate and pass along the comments to devs, that does not help us out when release goes live, it’d be nice to recognise that r4 resource and sig stones we’ve used are not easy to come by… bug or no bug I’d appreciate a chance to revert back to what he was or get my resources back to invest in another champ…

This is just plain poor customer service and it continues to show lack of transparency.

Honestly this is just semantics. Given the way that he actually worked, it is certainly possible to read his kit and conclude that as long as he is still below 10 monster mass when frenzy is activated he retains True Accuracy, especially when the wording has not always been as clear as one would like. But regardless, does it matter if we call it a nerf or a bug fix? After the fix, he will not be as good as he has been for well over a year. For all the Mole Man players it is functionally a nerf. The term "bug" is kind of vague in its own right. Is there some sort of glitch that is preventing him from working as intended, or is he functioning exactly as he was designed, and the designers failed to design him the way that he was described? Was there a disconnect between the person who designed him and the one who wrote the description? At the end of the day, who cares? Players asked for clarification and didn't get any. The way that he worked made sense with the description in his kit, even if it isn't the most obvious way to read the description. He worked that way for about a year and a half. Players will now have a champ that no longer functions in a way that made some love and use the champ. Call it a nerf or don't call it a nerf, but the end result is the same as a nerf.

I've been using a r3 moleman for like a year and didn't even know about this bug. I just didn't frenzy when I needed true accuracy. His character sheet specifically says he can't have both at once. So to me, this change is no change at all, and Molegod is still Molegod.

I'm pointing out that there should have been no question about it, really. That's how he was intended to work. People knew it enough to post and ask. They also knew it enough to stop asking. This whole "that's how he has worked" argument is moot. Anyone who used him pre-buff was aware of this. Broken is broken, and we can't pick and choose what bugs get fixed based on how we want to benefit from them.

Very bad form for them to do this. Should just change the description to fit what the champion has been doing. Would make the players happy.

He isn't game breaking and we love him as he is now. Fix one of a ton of other issues the players AREN'T happy about instead. Seems like a winning strategy to me. Stop pissing off your customers, kabam.

It’s really unfortunate to see thousands of players frustrated because there is a champ that they love and who got justice when buffed is now getting nerfed. I understand it’s a bug fix but weighing the amount of negative emotions from that “fix” vs how people were satisfied with his previous state and how much they will be satisfied if that fox is reverted makes the decision to revert it more beneficial. That will increase the satisfaction of the player base and makes us feel listened to. Specially that he was not broken or anything. Please listen to us and don’t let us down

Fun fact. You keep true accuracy above 10 monster mass if you went into frenzy under 10. Enjoy it for two more days.

It's sad that assumption trumps facts.. if champion is not working as described, it can go either way positive or negatively.. Moleman had a bug that kept true strike while he was in frenzy mode (if you happen to benefit from the bug by doing content an otherwise normal Moleman couldn't) then you got something out of it.. but if the champion doesn't perform base on his/her description.. then Kabam needs to correct the error.. example King Groot with Man-thing synergy.. which did not work.. after it was corrected.. King Groot got a bug that only gave him one fury in malice instead if three.. kabam says this will be corrected this coming update.. that is at least a months worth of bug for King Groot which lowered his ability.

So by having Moleman bug for 1yr +months.. it is matter of time wherein he would be corrected.. albeit fingers crossed kabam makes some changes and allow Moleman to keep his true-strike while in frenzy.

Yes please.. whatever happens, he is still a good champion.

I’d like to know why, when Symbiote Supreme had a year-long mismatch between his description and his actual functionality, a mistake that he was launched with, the description was changed rather than the ability. But in the case of MM, the ability was changed. The cases are nearly identical, and the decision of what to change was the opposite. The only seemingly commonality in the decision is that the outcome of each was option that hurt the players more.

Please revert Moleman to his pre-“fix” state and update his description. Follow the precedent you already set with Moleman.

Hi- the so called "fix" of MM was unnecessary. This has been going on for a year and a half. Suddenly saying we are fixing a bug instead of matching his abilities certainly feels like a nerf. It still takes a decent amount of skill to keep under 10 monster masses and be in frenzy. In our alliance there are 30 people, most are not here in forums but all of us are equally disappointed and there has been a lot of discussion. Everyone equally felt it was a bad move.The July 4 excitement was "soured" by this change and people were hesistant to spend as well.

This was not the case when ultron was "fixed" when bugged as we realised that because of the sp3 bug it could make him too good for everest content.

MM is an unique skill champ and abilities should not be nerfed. Rather his description should reflect his abilities. I saw Kabam jax's response but this reflects how poorly game developers know how champions are being used in actual game. It is not just an issue of communication disconnect but more than that, developers do not know how champions are being used which is the bigger issue than communication.

So I would request kabam on behalf of my alliance to match moleman's description to his abilities not the other way around.

I feel like a nice compromise would be to have true strike in frenzy below 10 mass. That make you do a balancing act with the frenzy.

Got 6* Angela and MM from a nexus yesterday and choose Angela. MM would be good if he is not going to be fixed. Really sad for MM.

Regarding its specifications, moleman is clearly well balanced: it's not the best character (even it's top tier) but you need to have it in your "toolbox" to clear some content.

That's why I've put mine 6r3. Moreover it's fun to play and letting him keeping its true accuracy (in some condition) during frenzy compensate the loss of purifying debuff. That's why it's well balanced.

I really hope the moleman kit will stay as it is in the game... and only its description will be updated !

Changing his Kit to “If Moleman reaches 10 Monster Mass while he has true accuracy active he will lose the true accuracy. It can only be reactivated once his Monster Mass has depleted and a new cycle begins”

Or…. leave him how he is. Why should there be a compromise at this point 18 months in. This add nothing to the broken game and annoys a bunch of people for no reason at all. How is this priority, should be off the table. Have someone edit 1 sentence i a description and move on to other issues.

Sure, I’m all for that, but I would rather still be able to use his accuracy while frenzy is active and keep his charges in check, than only being able to use the accuracy without frenzy. Might as well remove the buff then, since I would not be using him for those fights anymore anyways.

There's an assumption here that they just waited by choice. We don't know the reason it took this long. They could have been busy with other things. They could have been investigating it. They could have decided to leave it until it posed another problem. We just don't know. I get the question of communication, but it being left isn't an indication that's how they should work.
