3* Crystals Shards Giving 4* Shards Bug: Review Question

This glitch was in the game a few hours ago and I’m sure thousands of people were able to take advantage of it. Kabam swiftly patched the bug, literally within an hour or two (interesting they are able to instantly pinpoint issues when it impacts them negatively, but I digress).

The question is: have they indicated in the forums or anywhere else that they will penalize anyone who “exploited” this bug? They have punished players in the past for taking advantage of their glitches, I’m wondering if it was mentioned anywhere they will be taking away ISO earned from opening the 4* crystals that were obtained.

    I mean when it's an obvious exploit it's best not to try and take advantage of it.

    So your source is someone in global chat? Are you in a chat outside of the game like line? Did you see proof? If it was such a widespread issue, why is the this the only post on it?

    How can someone from global chat force you to do anything?

    Your issue is your tunnel vision.

    -Yes, I know him for 4+ years.
    -Yes.
    -What proof do you want? It's called trusting your mates.
    -This post serves the purpose. This post exist and the comments which will follow will be the proof for your eyes. It got fixed under an hour.
    -He was asking me to buy these shards. He wanted me to get them. But I wasn't going to and I denied him. He wanted me to confirm what he just got was real or was he incorrect.

    Then couple players took those 3* shards and got 4* shards and confirmed it right then and there.
    I don't care about 4* shards,I have 4k iso sitting.

    People have real conversations in global chat.
    I dont talk to toxic or immature people in global, those are instantly blocked. There's a block button and my block list is big.

    Believe it or not.
    Other players will be here to confirm this just like the person above my comment did.

    If this gave 6 star shards... we know what would be done... I don't think anyone got some rediculous advantage out of it / don't think its worth Kabam trying to hunt people down and take it away (rather those fraud people get ready for battlegrounds)... but I do think its a bit cheap to silently fix it, and not let others get a little iso out of it.

    It's only 4 Star shards, what is this now in the game? i mean, Kabam is making 5 star less rare to obtain, puting offers where you can get the featured 5 star guaranteed, fully explore Uncollected dificulty now gave you a 5 star champ, what is a 4 star these days if not ISO?

    I personally think it’s not that big of a deal. But that’s why I’m asking because Kabam doesn’t always agree. Especially if they sped to patch it immediately.
