Who is the better option for a cosmic awakening, Corvus or Hyperion?

Unless you need Corvus’ awakening for some kind of time out method (which Kabam has stated many times they want to prevent this from being a normal strategy at some point) or for his limited immortality when it comes to some high DoT nodes that would normally KO you, you’ll probably find that Hype is the better overall choice as it benefits him in practically every situation you would normally use him in.

There needs to be some kind of Venn diagram for these. This is a classic, suicides vs non suicides rank up question.
If you run suicides do Corvus. Recoil kills hype fast.
If you don’t run suicides, hype all day long. Get him up to around sig 60 when you can.

Just curious, but what is this/how does the awakening help with timing out?

In AQ specifically, you can burn through almost all your glaive charges while at 1 health then pause the game and let the timer run out. Because the Time out only reduces your HP by 50% of the current amount, at 1HP it cannot reduce it lower. Essentially meaning you can indefinitely time out with Corvus and never need to revive or use healing items. It does mean the fights take longer overall as you have to pause the game and wait for the timer to end but it’s one of the most cost efficient ways to complete AQ maps that you probably wouldn’t normally have been able to deal with.

Thanks for the info. I never would have thought about that.

    Why sig 60?
I always thought that Hyperion needs sig 200?
Nah 200 is a big waste for Hype. You get most of the benefit around sig 1 but 60 is a nice sweet spot if you've got an abundance of stones to invest.
