Thoughts on new featured 6 star crystal

One of the most interesting crystals ever released most of the champs aare pretty good... only duds I see are Mephisto, Modok and Drax(can't see him). The rest of the pool is really interesting and the new pool of champs are pretty good. I rate this crystal 8 out of 10...

    Out of 18 old champs in the crystal, I could make an argument that Corvus is the only one in the top 5 of their class.

    Was hunting korg and dorm dupe for battlegrounds and got them both. Only guardian dupe and thing left now and all the new champs. Excited for the next crystals.

    in the 11 Crystals I pulled, I've woken Classic black panther, pulled and and awoke Rintrah up to SIG 40, Pulled and awoken Spider Gwen and Dormammu, Pulled Hulkling, Modok, and Black Cat. so 3 new featured champs in total. 6 new 6 Stars I didn't have before. People are telling me Rintrah is good. I'll let you know what I figure out.

    Perhaps, but I think if a player is concerned about how many top five champs are in the featured, they are probably at a stage of progress where they should strongly consider sticking to basics. They probably don't especially need the featured champs, they are in greater need of *more* champs.

    The player need a clear change on crystals. Basic 6* is a great (the greatest?) source of frustration because the absolute number of quite useless « champions » is really too high. It can be easily seen by looking at the ranking of the content creators.
    But Kabam doe not seem to want to be inventive on the topic of crystals.

    Personally, I am over with the featured crystals when the result was a duped Black Panther Civil War, the worst of the previous batch. With 3 openings on the last batch and no recent champion, the extra cost was a pure waste of shards.

    Gotta agree with @DNA3000 here. It's a pretty decent crystal if you're more concerned about Battlegrounds than story content. Obviously MODOK won't get you far in Act 7, but he can still be a pretty great pull if you're in need of a good BG defender. Same with Mephisto, Korg and Dormammu.

    Beyond that, you've got Havok, Corvus, Thing, Black Panther, Elsa, Howard, and Spider-Gwen who are all really good champions. Not at the top of their class but I don't think anyone should be disappointed by pulling them (at least as first-time pulls or initial dupes). I think a fair few of them are pretty underappreciated.

    And then you've got a collection of newer champions that form possibly the strongest no-dud streak we've seen in the game for a very long time.

    There aren't any Dooms, Nick Furys or Human Torches in the crystal which is a shame, but that doesn't mean it's a bad crystal. In fact, given that most of the "bad" champions are annoying defenders, there are very few champions in the crystal that I consider outright bad pulls that I have absolutely no need of or inclination to rank up in the future.

    Of course, your mileage may vary, especially if you're not really into Battlegrounds. But I am, so I like what I'm seeing.

    To be honest folks with now 6 stars being added to basic at the same time as other rarities it's best to stick with basics unless you are hunting for specific champs

    Unless you’re late game and possess all of the basic characters already and new characters are all that’s left for you at this point.

    When they are added to basic the chance is less to get those particular champs

    Personally I’ve loved it. The featured champs are great and among the sub-featured there are lots of dupes I’ve been trying to get for a long time.
