I'm sorry OP is definitely lying. No way you went past 1K units and didn't say anything on the forums
It’s possible to blow that many units when one is tilted and is running around without a proper gameplay. I remember being something like that during the days when ROL was the Everest content.
I am a thronebreaker player and i have just wasted over 3000 units on buying pots and revive. And i Still haven't been able to clear this EOP warlock. Still 20% health remains.
Was trying to get the tech objective done. Was using 5*5 warlock. Gotta say this EOP warlock has gotta be the worst fight ever. Now With all my resources drained. EOP is over for me. Really feeling dissapointed.
What I've been doing with these EOP fights is, before even considering to use revives, I keep practicing & restarting until i can at least get them down below 50% health. That i way i know it's just gonna be 1 or 2 revives to end the fight.
I used a r5 warlock as well and used 3-4 revives, like another person said, you should have known when to stop spending. These fights are designed for you to retry until you understand what you’re doing.

Stupidity. I soloed the EOP Warlock, with a 4/55 Warlock..... Not that hard. Be wary of spacing and stick to his Sp2 and only throw SP when infected, the fight is a breeze. To spend 3000 units on a fight is ridiculous. The second objective tripped me up, 5 revives with Sym Supreme, but not 3000 units!
Dude 3,000 is heavy, did you farm revives? Personally I found the key to succeeding was to just go at it and restart until you got the rhythm down. Warlock fight was 2 hours of constant restarting till I was able to get the fight down. Shortly after I got the one shot. It’s stressful having to restart so constantly but it works. Having the rhythm and mechanics of the fight down helped getting my other 2 runs down ítem-less
Power through is more less a gambling behaviour like those gambier stick at the table and top up his gamble.
IMHO you better set stop loss limit and stress limit, same concept as equity trader with VaR tool.
3000 units = 30 team revives or different revive/health combination, in any case it's too much. Think about your milestones in EOP reward vs final week challenge, are you going to spare 3000 units again for one opponent? What-if you are "on hook" in the middle of the fight? These are something you've to keep this in mind. Maybe these considerations can cool you down and make better decision.
My friend, I would ask you not to vent this stuff here. Not that you don’t deserve to, or that you’re wrong. Rather it just gives the MCOC forum Warriors what feels like a socially acceptable way to tell us all how great they are at the game, and it makes me slightly nauseous.
Oh, dear. What was your thought process? Didn’t it occur to you to back out and reassess the situation at the 1000 unit mark? Not even after 2000? Not trying to kick you when your down man, but you should know better at your progression level.
No way i cn back out from a fight that too after wasting so many units.

Sooooooo, I know all about ego, and difficult fights IN MCOC. I once wasted my entire stash of revives plus some units before calling it quits on Grandmaster.
But seriously after your first death or 2 you should have backed out, reevaluated your champ, approach, and watched some videos on this fight.
When countless people are clearing this with minimal deaths, potions, and unit spend this ultimately comes down to a PEBKAU or in this case pebPau issue.

But you could have backed out after a few attempts to NOT put you that deep in.
As this clearly is a skill issue you won't get any sympathy from the people on these forums. That is just how it is. You should have just backed out earlier and changed how you were approaching the fight.
You have to be skilled to solo with the right champs for some of these fights. Warlock as a 5* should only be a couple revives at most. Don’t think you are playing the fight correctly. It has pain in the name for a reason. These challenges aren’t supposed to be easy solos
If he took no damage from your specials after intercepting, it’s likely because he was either not infected or just launched a special causing him to be debuff immune.
I’m sure you most probably would have fared better if you had understood the fight interactions a little more.
Don’t be emotional when playing. Sometimes it’s easy to lose yourself and go yolo then burn all your units on something. I’ve been there, it doesn’t feel good at all. Take a chill pill, put your device down and walk away for abit. You’ll play better when you cool down.
You're absolutely right! Just like a gamble, when you're "thirsty", you'll burn all money in a blink 😄 I also did it sometimes, and...start making units all over again
We are not talking about solos here. 3k units is 100 lvl 2 revives, in a fight you cannot chip away the defenders' health, like, 1% at the time. The worst case scenario is around..300 units let's say, if you can't do more than one effective sp2 with Warlock each time, around 20 % damage, plus a few unsuccessful ones.

here is some help to better understand how to defeat EoP Warlok

I mess up many times cause I would counter his sp with mine right away.

Me, I always one shot
I ranked up my Switch to 5-65 for the fight alone, since I had no other ideal A-Force option. She made the fight a joke.
