The only time size matters, in mcoc anyways, is when a node is involved. So why are people offended when they aren't tagged what they think they should be.

Isn't the only time that XL matters is that one node where Glancing occurs based on size?
And even in that instance, the XL vs L difference is largely neglible (an easy change in playstyle).

Certain champs have abilities where the size of the opponent matters-
Peni synergy with MoleMan, HTD, and MODOK

Elsa awakened ability applies to both Large and XL, so in this case it’s moot,
I believe we just had a daily objective last week involving size…..

Easy answer: because Kabam wanted it that way. There are more considerations for gaming than comic book accuracy. This questions falls in the same bucket as "why isn't Ghost Rider poison immune" or "why does Quake impact champs that float?"

It is what it is, and most likely Kabam will not reveal their reasoning.

Anyway, maybe Galan has a fat big brother who would define the XL dimensions for that race. No one really knows.

Comic book accuracy is not the point. MCOC doesn't need to be consistent with the comics, but any created world, gaming or otherwise, needs to have internal consistency. Based on what Kabam has shown us and their own size tag system, he should be tagged as XL. The fact that he isn't appears to be wrong. If they want to mis-tag him they can, but that doesn't make it not wrong. Again, it isn't wrong because he is XL in the comics, it's wrong because he is XL in the game, but tagged as L. Unless they decide that the tag system has no correlation to the actual game attributes, which would be stupid.

While reading can be hard I recommend you read my comment again. I said: “a character who has the exact same power set as him”. From kabam’s description he also “metamorphosed into galactus” and “ate a planet” only stopping from guilt. This version of galan IS galactus. A vegan one who grows planets (see the new art in the loading screen). You are a bad faith actor who thrives on being a contrarian

Seriously, if Galan isn't XL the size tags are meaningless. It would be nice if a Mod would get confirmation that this isn't a mistake. We might as well tag Dr. Strange as Tech, Rocket Raccoon as XL, Captain America as a Villain and Groot as Offensive Burst.

Aside from eating planets, Galactus is most known as being huge.
It's at least why we haven't gotten him playable for over 7 years.
And yes, I know this is "Galan" but he's literally Galactus.
Even searching up Galan just gives you pictures of Galactus.
Him not being XL while Venom and Moleman are just bothers me so much.
Especially since the latter being XL has to do with a mole he's on and not his own size.
I can sort of understand Nimrod being L, but this... This is stretching it for me.
If the loading screen didn't have Galan towering over planets, this wouldn't bother me as much.
Or the bio basically stating "yes, this is Galactus. He just doesn't eat planets now."
It's the little things that get me, man.
Hopefully a mod gives some kind of answer.
