    I wish there was I finished day 2 and now have to wait till the end should be some item that allows it to be claimable after we beat it once and then after that the quest milestone and item disappear

    They confirmed it definitely won’t be possible this time. They’re discussing possible ways to implement it but no promises on if or when it will happen. Claiming peak milestones early is highly subject to bugs (as is really any new thing) and depending on how they do it, people could potentially not understand the new system and claim rewards before they should, leading to outrage.

    How else can they stretch it across entire year without 3(4) week gaps between events. Might as well make the wait the most painful part.

    Sucks for players not being able to reach them but it might be a middle ground

    Except that they’re doling out r4 mats in EQ and SQ, and selling them daily. Titles can change. You’d have a forum with people throwing fits about that instead.

    I mean, they haven’t botched the code because it’s working. They may have built it so that it is difficult to easily transform something that is simple to put into words, but difficult to implement as code. But they weren’t planning on having to change it so it’s not like they were wrong not to anticipate this.

    From everything I’ve heard of the designers, any new additions or patches to existing code are a bit of a headache to implement without unforeseen consequences.
