Unstoppable Colossus Refund

Similar to the MoleMan rank down gems, I think that a Unstoppable Colossus loyalty refund, even at a lesser rate, would be great with the update to the loyalty store.

They won’t, but I am pretty bummed that I bought him too with the updates.

Buffing him would stop the complaints

Oddly enough, Buffing him would make the Loyalty Store more alluring in some way. Do I spend 1.6million on a good 6* mystic champion or do I save for rank up materials?
Probably not as hard of a decision as you might think. Unless he has neutralize, power control like doom, or damage like tigra and Diablo, he’s not going to be alluring in any sense

speaking as someone who has a 5 and a 6* UC, this is the kind of change that would be helpful and positive, but is not deserved or necessary. i think it would make a lot of people if there was a full, even half refund on him, but it should not be a priority and would just be a cherry on top of the loyalty store

I don’t think we deserve a refund, but I do think it was rather badly planned that Kabam didn’t even announce that the store would be getting a huge update after years of being pretty much the same. Surely something like this took planning, and even just a hint at it would’ve made much more sense than just randomly dropping a major change like this.

I’m not saying I need a refund, but this is also one of the harshest threads I’ve read in a while. Sure, people knew what they were doing, but if you had millions of loyalty and nothing else to spend it on, UC made more sense than just hoarding if we hadn’t gotten an appreciable loyalty store upgrade in years. If you asked me before the update to bet on him getting a buff or the store getting updated to include R4 materials or a 6* AG, I would’ve bet on a buff.

Overall, I feel like the transition was just badly handled by Kabam. Just a smidge of notice would’ve made a big difference.

I do feel for people who bought him super recently. There was absolutely no precedent that the type of rewards that are now available in the Loyalty store would be coming to the game. If you bought him 1 year or more ago, no you should not get your loyalty back. That sounds like that guy who wants his units back for clearing content with a pre-buff Gamora.

This is a good point. It would be nice if Kabam would make small announcements regarding upcoming improvements to stores/currency. Which, in their defense, they have said for War Season 37. I would appreciate them continuing to do this for upcoming changes to AQ/Glory Store and Incursions and its store. Same as if they were going to introduce a Battlechip store. Some heads up before it happens even with no information other than an expected date would be really helpful.

This is why people are still saving those AG's for the next trade-in (even though Kabam said it wouldn't happen again). Somewhere down the road, something else will probably come along (or not - who knows) and if there's nothing really worth using items on or buying now, save... just in case.

I would have rather spent all of my Loyalty on boosts and potions than to ever spend over one million Loyalty to obtain a champ I never really wanted in the first place. #choices

A lot of players don't need or use boosts or potions and had zero use for anything in the store so the UC gave at least something while boosts and potions would just expire for many people to include myself.
