OG Scarlet Witch

She's so weak now. I feel like she got nerfed even beyond the synergy. She's very inconsistent now when it comes to getting buffs from her veil of fortune. Even with the crappy 3 prowess she still hits weak. The largest damage I did with sp2 was only 45k.

Those mentioned champs can't throw specials like this.

And yes, I'm still saltier than the Dead Sea that I bought an awakening gem offer for SW right before 12.0 hit.

I personally like SW just because of nostalgia. If I'm going to get her I will awaken her and take to R5 sig 200 only because of that but not gonna use her. Same thing happened with OG Thor. Both don't have much utility. Then OG Ghost Rider have more utility.

The issue really is that people who bought the Quicksilver package still feel there were fleeced when the synergy was changed as soon as the deal ended and the response from Kabam is "well, sucks to be you." Granted it was better the change was made after that sale ended rather than after the current Scarlet Witch packages, but people like me who bought the deal for the synergy still feel disrespected.

I'd love to know what changed from Miike's post in 2019 to today, where a 6* Switch is not only available, but has the benefit of synergies that didn't even exist when "no content could stand in the way" of a 5*.

Everybody digging up my posts from November 2019 today. It's only happened twice so far... but I've only been online for 30 minutes so it's still odd... Suspicious.
I don't think it's "digging up old posts" so much as it is having that SS saved for future use. Lol.

Honestly, I feel like I go out the way to give my Miike grief when it’s appropriate but this isn’t it. We have 6-star Blade now, which would’ve been inconceivable before, and frankly, the relative scarcity of 6-star stones and lack of immunities means that a 6-star now means less than a 5-star in late 2019 in terms of ability to dominate.

A lot has changed in 3 years! New Champs, new Nodes, new abilities that aren't simply overcome by Powerlocking, Stunning, or Nullifying. That was a long time ago, and I can't remember all of the details anymore, but in those 3 years, the complexity of the game has increased quite a bit.
I agree to some extent (I mean, there was plenty of content that you couldn’t get past by stunning, power locking and nullifying in 2019 - this was the time of act 6.3 and a few months before 6.4), but I’m sure you can see why some find it odd considering we had champs of the caliber of Ghost, Corvus, Nick Fury, Torch, Archangel etc.

But I think the main reason people found this post odd, and still do, is that you said Switch is more powerful than Ghost. I mean, even Kabam John who is in charge of balancing champions doesn’t believe that. In the most recent interview he said that Quake and Ghost are the top two champions in the game and most overpowered. This was as true in 2019 as it is today.

So while the nodes have changed and champions have been added, switch and ghost remain the same. And I’m sure that given the choice, more people are going to want a Ghost for a tough fight than Switch.

I don’t mean this as a gotcha or anything like that, I just feel saying Switch is more powerful than Ghost wasn’t accurate in 2019, and it’s still not accurate now.
Mods are also people, and I think it's important to distinguish opinion from official statement.

I suppose it also depends on what you're looking at. Damage output is only one aspect of a Champ overall.
