Greetings Summoners!
With Battlegrounds releasing in just a few days, it’s time to share the rewards that you can obtain for participating and emerging victorious in Battlegrounds!
A note before we begin:
Before you read this, make sure you’ve read our latest Blog Post on Battlegrounds, and understand the new additions, such as the Victory Track and Gladiator’s circuit.
There are multiple areas in which you can get rewards for participating in Battlegrounds. Let’s break them down before we get into the details:
Solo Objective:
- Win matches for Trophy Tokens
Solo/Alliance Events:
- Milestones and Rank Rewards are earned by entering with Elder's Marks.
Victory Track:
- Seasonal Rewards for Reaching New Divisions
Gladiator’s Circuit
- Seasonal Ranked Rewards unlocked by climbing Battlegrounds Rating, exclusive for Summoners that have completed the Victory Track
Battlegrounds Store:
- Like the Loyalty and Glory stores, this is a Campaign Progression level based Store with rewards to help you strengthen your Roster
Duration: 28 Days
How to Earn Points:
Match Won: 1250 Points
Match Complete: 800 Points
Duration: 28 Days
How to Earn Points:
Player Drafts a [TAG] Champion: 25 Points
Player Assigns a [CLASS CHAMPION] Attacker: 50 Points
Player Assigns a [CLASS CHAMPION] Defender: 50 Points
Match Won: 1200 Points
Matches Complete: 600 Points
There will be more updates to the Store and Rewards in the coming seasons, so keep your eyes open!

Objective resets every 2 days. Win 5 Matches for 650 Trophy Tokens. Simple!Solo Event
To progress in Solo Events, you must enter matches with Elder's Marks.Duration: 28 Days

Will we get any as we win matches ?
It’s okay if this is a grind-heavy mode. That’s not new to the game, and I’m sure a lot of players are totally cool with that. But it’s worth highlighting that gold and units, the other materials that require time-intensive grinding to accumulate, are not present here. That means that a player looking to play this new mode remotely competitively will have to add this grind on top of the arena grind they likely participate in to pay for ranking the champions they use in Battlegrounds. It’s… it’s a lot.
I love Battlegrounds and the rewards look great. I just hope that there are enough hours in the day to actually enjoy this mode and not feel like it’s a slog.
The actual rank rewards are very minimal compared to the solo event. Please considering revising the rewards and putting the majority in for being the best player not for “playing” a million matches. You are seeing the game mode up for serious abuse from mercs and modders will will just spam as many matches as possible. At the very least just change the scoring so Instead of 200 points for a win and 1250 for a match, it’s 200 points for a match and 1250 for a win!
Rewards aside. How much time you expect us to play this mode on a single day, across multiple days in a row for an entire month? Player's don't have time for yet another one of these, unless you want us to be spending on every game mode to get it done quickly (which you do) and be able to get it immediately without actually having to play the game, working, farming for it for hours and hours. I was hoping this was more of a chill mode like incursions where rewards would just refresh every once in a while and were not rank dependant. Not this trash with rank focus rewards.
And were's the cap at the number of matches per day? Where's the cap of poins gained per a limited timeframe? Funny that you even say we can buy an "unlimited amount of entries for Units". What were the betas for? What was all the feedback for? Who even asked for this?
As someone else said, this is just arena all over again. Just another P2W money grabbing game mode.
This better just be another beta in disguise, cause this is just riddiculous
Not being pessimistic but I can see this being bugged from the start
I mean, let’s say that they cut every milestone in half. So there’s only half as much content. That might be a good amount for you, so you go that far. But what about someone who wants to play more? What about someone who loves the mode?
The extra rewards on top mean there’s longevity in the mode. You don’t only need to do 2 hours a month like with incursions to get top zone bonuses. You can play to your hearts content and still get rewards.
I’m not saying that it’s definitely going to be that way, and that casual play will feel rewarding, but how do you know that it won’t be?
You now have the option to play as much as you want, and if the majority of people don’t feel it’s worth the time - well, it’s subject to change and that feedback can be given. But I think it’s a bit preemptive to say how terrible it is already.
Surely it’s better to add 150% of the ideal amount of time that you would want to spend, than to add 50%? In one, you can still spend as much time as you want and not run out, in the other, you run out.
Besides, you call any piece of new content P2W now, so it’s a kinda boy who cried wolf vibes.
This current system is unrealistic to someone who plays the game as a whole. You either dedicate your life to this single game mode and get the mid brackets of it, or spend on it to get the top rewards, as well as spending on everything else to accomodate the time missed on the other game modes.
This is like arena heavy grind, but for an entire month and always constantly spending units.
