Black Cat (unawakened) question

I just pulled her.
I saw videos of her amazing bleed damage.
I read her abilities and it doesn’t seem like it but…
Does she need to be awakened?

Just got her yesterday and came across your thread today when looking for discussions on her. I feel like the dupe even at level 1 would be very useful for building combos and having a safeguard for risky intercepts. But I don’t think you need it to do anything central to her kit. Unduped seems to just require even more skillful gameplay so you don’t lose your combo.
