Why do I have to replay the part I have already completed?

For ACT-4 ???
Nope, that is because of the major redesign of the lower ACT's.

That's due to merged/changed paths or changed nodes, especially ACT-4. If you had not previously been 100% of an ACT then there may be loose segments of paths appearing undone surrounded by other segments that are still marked done.
You have to finish the full new/modified path again for it to count as complete.

If it's something like Labyrinth, and you don’t know what segment remains undone, they might help inform you which parts still need to be taken.
