If I remember correctly, it wasn't announced in advanced last year, so if it occurs again this year, I would think they would follow last year's protocol and have it a surprise again (meaning don't expect to get a definite answer here).

They said that it’s not been planned in a previous post, so if we get it we get it.

Jax mentioned a while back that they're not going to announce anything until it's set in stone in order to avoid any confusion. So until you hear it from them, presume nothing and make whatever decision serves you best.

Hope it comes back.. but so many people complained about it last year. It was supposed to be a good thing, instead there was so much complaining about not being told in advance to farm gold...

I think 6 star acquisition will increase with the announcement of 7 stars so the gold for 6 star event wont break the economy. Just hope they also reduce the dual class crystal cost too.

I'd suggest holding your gold till the 8th of October since this was the offers date last year, I bet if it wasn't returning this time kabam jax would've responded saying so. So just hold on to your gold a little longer

7* shards coming not 7* champs, it will take a year to get a 7* , and most important gold is not a problem for endgame players

I just use gold as and when I want.always hover around 50m. Should be enough for any offer if it comes up

If that's the case, without any kabam I'd do 2 things, assuming it comes back.
1. Start getting gold
2. Keep your gold reserves above what was needed last time

In my opinion, if you are TB and below and working to build roster don't bother to buy deals
Or
Don't buy unless you have 40m gold.
Trust me I had 30m last round and since then I never recovered the gold amount and thus lot of ranks up did not happened
So In my opinion progressing players shouldn't buy it and use it on champs instead
