The event is what it is. It’s not great, but couldn’t you have at least thrown in some platpool pieces? I’ve been trying to form the 6* for well over a year, and dupe the 5* for I feel like 3 years
If it's not abundantly clear already these guys clearly don't care about player satisfaction. Nobody, literally nobody, can steal defeat from the jaws of victory the way kabam can 😄
I would have loved the gold offers. I assumed they were gone, mildly disappointed but still figured the event would be worthwhile.
The problem is, absolutely nothing in this event is worthwhile. The money deals are awful. The solo event is terrible. The unit deals aren’t worth it.
No side quest. No milestones. No special arena. It’s quite literally just “Spend money/units for bad deals and grind for an extremely rare chance at a trophy champ.”
Wow just taking a look at the offers makes me sick. They take an event which could have been a way to thank the community and have some fun, but instead they are saying hey if you want ANY rarity of Red Deadpool then hand us your cash.
I'm shocked that even the 1*, 2*, and 3* rarity are behind a paywall.
Kabam while there is time please reconsider and instead provide the community with a way to get the 1*, 2*, and 3* rarity as milestones in the Oversaturated Market Arena thing. Please put them at reasonable milestones or perhaps this have at least the 1* and 2* as given to summoners as long as they participate.
I feel seeing this yet another testimony of disconnect from them understanding us the community.
As predicted, the game is very close to a name changing, from MCoC to MSoC, Marvel Store of Champions, everything becomes cash grab or unit spending that is in most cases the same. At least add to the Deadpool store a new profile pic costing 1 gold or something for the good old times.
PS. Cyber weekend is coming up. Before you spend remember how youre feeling right now. Also remember that any 6 star materials are going to feel aged in a just a few short months. Viva la whales I suppose tho
This years deadpool event is weak, I pray nobody spends just to teach kabam a lesson in respect. All this company wants to do is take from our pockets. This would have been a nice event for those players that have earned enough gold to spend on some awesome goodies along side unit offers but instead we get this disgraceful overly monetised waste

One step forwards in to making the event available for everyone. A step back by making it only realistic to those that already have deadpool. Another step back for not adding some sort of cap and pretty much be a unit/money spending fiesta with no limit. And another step back for selling deadpool via p2w offers just to incentivize this behaviour
Mods are around tidying threads but no comments. Even if it was 'its not here this year, thrillson told you yesterday and we change things when we want' it would be good. Something like 'we see now what it means to you, we will take this feedback for future events' would calm things down.

Im sure a huge part of the community was hyped for this and all we heard about it not happening was thrillson (who is super likely to have been a troll) speak on the matter. This should have been handled so much better by you kabam. The gold event was such a pro player event and with the huge issues with battlegrounds and the vfx issues this could have been a huge win for you in the eyes of the community.
So basically if i do just one duel with any deadpool and i ll end up in the last rank bracket. Thats 1 mil gold for 1 fight. There’s no point in grinding anything now
I was all set to drop some money. Pulled up to the drug mart to go buy an Apple Card, went in game, looked at offers, looked at the Deadpool store, drove immediately back home cash in pocket. These offers are uninspired at best, stale and over priced at worst, and don’t even get me started on the Deadpool store. We get no gold trade, you announce 7*’s, relics and ascension, then drop this mess of a spenders spree on the community? Where is the win here for the player base? It must be in that 1000 bucks you can spend for 159 all Deadpool crystals, huh. Disappointed TO SAY THE LEAST
The way I'm thinking, this event didn't have to happen. But it's something for nothing. As uncollected I can get 1 tier 5 basic + 10 tier 1 alpha for 500 units. That's a good deal for me so I got them and I can rank 5 Tigra or Domino, I'm undecided which just yet. The actual Deadpool event is a bit of a let down, but all I have to do is win 1 fight for 1m gold. That's good. On the down side I would have liked the chance to win a 5* or 6* champ, but you can't have it all lolz
Pasting this here since it got mothballed back to “Suggestions.” Any cuteness intended with the Kabam Thrillson comment seems much less humorous now.
Maybe something interesting pops up later today, but if this is it, then no.

The 'thrillson' post said they were trying 'something new'. If someone would be so kind as to point me to the new thing I'd at least credit that. The gold event want new because it wasn't ever used like that before. Unit deals and a unit store? It's the same any old weeked worthless deal. I got used to do not expect anything, yet I'm still let down.
To me, it's like there's no event going since I won't spend any unit/money on those overpriced "deals".
