Both of my accounts are active participants in their respective alliances with my Alt account actually being the leader of that crew, so I'm not going to up and quit it just because gifting is gone. That was never the point it was just a cherry on top of me.
I only have one alt, but with it already on 12k units earned over the last 8 months of switching into it, getting uncollected etc at this point i only log in once a week .i don't plan to use it other than to check in to make sure my units are still there, as my main is enough work without grinding my alt any further for no benefit except disposable items. The way things are going you never know...
I wasn't aware the Gifting Event had been cancelled. I only returned to the Contest a few months ago in anticipation of this Event. I'll probably abandon my main account alongside my alts. Downer man..
