Which Cosmic 5* to R5 (is it completely obvious?)

Hey y’all. I’ve been running with Medusa at R4 for the longest time and I absolutely love her. She’s got a simple play style and does tons of damage.

I recently duped Angela too and so I took her to R4. She’s fun but I don’t fully get her utility yet and I feel like she’s better suited for long matches which I haven’t been playing as much as.

BUT I also just pulled a Cosmic Ghost Rider. And like every pole and forum says he’s incredible. I’ve played him a little bit but don’t have a full handle on him yet.

Should it be CGR that I rank up? It *feels* like the obvious choice - based on like peoples “rankings” and such. But Medusa and Angela have their uses too.

I also have a cosmic awakening so I could awaken CGR if I take him to R5 to make him even more valuable. OR do I just hold onto that until the day I *crosses fingers* get Hercules?

I personally would do Angela if you can get her to a high sig. her utility lets you just ignore some nodes without thinking. She’s one of the few 5 * that I still use.

If you have trouble with robots, then Medusa.

But really, without more info like where you’re at, I’d say CGR. He can just nuke so many fights so fast. I also would save the gem, but CGR only needs sig 1 if you do want to use it.

Thanks. So I’m cavalier, but with a pretty low roster still. I played A TON the first like 4 years and then stopped, and I just came back to the game a couple of months ago. I have not done any of 6.2 or later, and this was the first time I did the Cavalier EQ and actually managed to complete it (only one run through because there’s no way I can do 100% - I was shocked I was even able to complete it)

Here’s my top roster, I literally just took Kitty to rank 2 today, cause I don’t have any good 6 stars so I’m still focusing on building up 5* rank 5s to help me progress. (Also just pulled 5* Archangel two minutes ago and have mutant awakening gem so he’s gonna go up there too)

Generally, I think it’s better to rank up champs you enjoy and use the most. If that’s Medusa, then go for it. 🙂

However, if you are wanting to build up and expand your roster to have more options for various content, then Angela (high Sig needed) or CGR would be better. You already have a Red Magneto who handles all robot fights, so the need for Medusa is less.

AA is a game changer, so I’d awaken and rank him up ASAP.

Learning Kitty will allow you to clear quite a bit, especially when you can get her awakened.

Dr. Voodoo and Colossus will also bring added utility to your roster.

I really appreciate the insight. I agree I love Dr Voodoo and Colossus. But when it comes to mutants I have Red Mags, Kitty, and about to have AA so I don’t think I have any urgency for Colossus.

I have Sorcerer Supreme who I might also R5 on the mystic side instead of Voodoo but I really have loved playing with him.

Angela or Medusa. Angela needs high sigs. She’s still great though. I also really like IMIW (underrated and gotta use him correctly) and Vodoo. Ice is solid. Fury and Kitty are awesome.
