For me, at the moment, it is Hercules, Gulk and Black Panther.
But I almost exclusively use Herc in that trinity.
I was gonna say Herc, iHulk and BP. I have a Herc at r4 and the other two at r3. Is it the top trinity? Not sure about that, but it’s a good one.
Above, I want to agree with the Stryfe/Apoc/Cable trinity, which is awesome, and the AV/Scorpion/Kraven trinity, which I dig except for the inclusion of Kraven. Scorpion and AV can clear a lot of content though.
My go-to team for going in blind is Nimrod/Kitty/Tigra. Turning Nimrod into a ramp up champ for every mutant he defeats across a quest takes his already impressive damage and turns it into something genuinely insane.
Kitty, for her part, gets auto-crits on heavy (with a short cooldown). Her kit gives her bonus prowess for guaranteed crits, so if you parry/heavy at the start of the fight it gives you 4 prowess, meaning you can immediately start phasing.
Tigra is Tigra and y’all already know what she gets out of it.
Another fun one is Spider-Gwen, Peni, and either Sym Supreme or Venom. Turns Spider-Gwen into an absolute cannon right at the start of every fight, no ramp required.
