8.1.6 crack in the armor path help

Seems like a really counterintuitive node. You need 3 buffs on the defender to deal damage and they easily get armor ups but you get rewarded for armor breaking them.

I have venompool and have seen he's reliable but I have seen some cumbersome match ups on youtube of people using cgr and corvus due to armor breaking them too much and not getting any buffs on the opponent.

Any tips on how to play this node easier?

I did this for my first path last weekend.

CGR works but it kinda painful and counterintuitive to regular CGR playstyle. Blast the SP2 which does no damage, parry 3 times then go ham with combos, big hits. To be honest, I mostly winged it. No revives for the path, used a few pots to stay alive.

Wasnt game enough to try 5r4 VtD but I bet his SP2 would work really well.

Did you only use cgr for the path or also other champs? And wasn't emma a pain with cgr if u fought her with him?
