Will a 7-star basic crystal still cost 10k shards?

So, a:
3-star basic crystal costs 2k shards
4-star basic crystal costs 2k shards
5-star basic crystal costs 10k shards
6-star basic crystal costs 10k shards
If you follow the pattern, it seems as though a 7-star basic crystal will cost more than 10k shards.
What are your thoughts?
3-star basic crystal costs 2k shards
4-star basic crystal costs 2k shards
5-star basic crystal costs 10k shards
6-star basic crystal costs 10k shards

It is a purely cosmetic decision because the amount of shards necessary to form a crystal is meaningless outside the context of how much shards we get. For example, are 5* crystals "more expensive" than 4* crystals on a relative basis? Not really. Look at champion duplication. We get 55 4* shards for duping a 3*. We get 275 5* shards for duping a 4* champion. 2000 x 5 = 10000. 55 x 5 = 275. The numbers have been scaled up by five. So it takes the same number of 3* dups to form a 4* crystal as it takes 4* dups to form a 5* crystal, or 5* dups to form a 6* crystal. I would expect this pattern to continue, regardless of the number of shards required, and I would expect all other sources of shards to be similarly scaled.
As we saw with side quest Cavs, we get the number of crystals the devs intend, regardless of what they cost. If they cost less, we get less shards, if they cost more we get more shards, so the number of crystals works out to what was intended. So this number, whatever it ends up being, is purely arbitrary.
