NGL: I can see the potential in Relics, and I like it

it's new but yeah it seems cool. feels a bit weird using 3*/4* relics because I'm still wondering if it's worth using resource on them. it costs like 250K gold to do one rank on the 3* one and appears to go up by 50K for each star level. wish they would've announced a new daily quest to get basic alloy/rune iso. No gold cost for leveling up slots is cool though.

I can see the potential for whales to dominate the game more than they already do. Battlegrounds will be very uneven after people get 10-30 of these.

As for solo content (story, WQ etc..) I don’t think they are needed at all.

For me — again, just me, because I hear what you’re saying — is if we know the game has to evolve and move forward, and the choice is this or 7-stars or both, then Relics are at least different and offer players choice in customization.

I won’t say I won’t ever try to get 7-stars. I am saying that I just don’t have any interest in ever pulling a 7-star OG Weak Character, so this is more preferable for me and how I play the game.

My hope is that a lot of people find something they like as this game tries to move into the future

I feel like they are made too much to enhance specific champs. Some of them are pretty niche (vision), but I am curious what interactions ppl will find

Kinda hoping it goes along with champ releases. 2 per month. Maybe even have it where we get a champ one week, a relic the next, and then champ again ending with a 2nd relic. Means we'd have a new.toy every week now instead of every 2 weeks.

I would REALLY REALLY REALLY like for the class restriction to be removed — for example, what if I want to have Thor’s abilities to enhance Iron Man IW? I do agree that they are a bit too specific

The stat increases from them are so minimal right now. Maybe I’m missing something but sure doesn’t like a game changing mechanic.

QS- 10 hit combo, relic, stun from relic, another 10 hit combo. this is probably the most concerning part that will be abused and become a meta. just hope the relic finishing a fight does not disturb charges on champs such as corv, apoc, and other champs that require finishing a champ for benefits.
besides that honestly dont mind relics so far

it's because they are of the 3*/4* variant. if you look at like the 6* Venom relic it's a +32% potency on bleed effects for 16s, so if it maths like it should that's about a 1/3 increase in bleed damage. when he's awakened you inflict indefinite bleed vulnerability passives of 6% that stack 8 times. and if you pick "Merciless Strike" with someone like Venompool it'll be +24% crit dmg and +48% crit chance. yeah, I really don't like being forced into 3*/4* but thinking about my R3 Venompool with a 6* Venom relic or even my R4 Aegon with a 6* BP Relic and I'm starting to get really excited.

what? you can't stun-lock with Quicksilver and a relic

show me where it says stun lock.... relic causes a stun that allows another hit combo right after, qs also has a 10-13 hit combo
