Unawakened Galan worth r4?

I just pulled a 6* Galan this past weekend and amliking him a lot. I'm trying to see how necessary his dupe is and whether he'd be a worthy r4 candidate as is. I haven't been able to find much on either, other than someone posting in the forums that a youtuber was saying the dupe is not necessary.

What's the opinion in the forums? Is unawakened Galan r4 worthy?

    He's worth it. The dupe is nice but it only comes into play when you're fighting someone like Peni, or anyone who's constantly trying to Power burn/lock/special lock you

    I took my Galan to r4 last night Unduped and don't regret it one bit.

    I'm having the same debate. CGR or Galan to r4, and using a cosmic awakening gem. Lately I've been finding CGR more useful (eg can't stun two SQ bosses).

    Galan can go unstoppable though if you enter harvest and then you have easy openings. Galan is actually who I use to absolutely demolish Attuma every single time, both in monthly cav EQ and legendary SQ.

    I’m having a similar doubt, my choices are Hulkling or Galan to be my 1st r4, both unduped. Who would benefit the most?

    I have a rank 3 hulking that I use a ton! I’ve been loving him and Shang chi as they both don’t have to block a single hit to get openings since they can just go unblockable by hit the opponents block.

    I’ve never once thought to myself “Man I wish hulking was awakened so his furies would last longer because he needs more damage.” His damage is very good from hitting the opponent along with hitting into their block.

    I just pulled Galan recently and have no gold to rank him up so he’s at rank 2 for now. I’ll test him out when he goes to rank 3 but I honestly think you can’t go wrong with either champ to rank 4.

    He doesn’t need the r4, but yes, he is very worth it.

    If you have a 6* galan rank him up no matter what
    If you have cgr same thing
    But if galan is awakened do galan

    A R4 Galan will almost always be banned in BGs unless the opponent also has one
    At R3 he might survive a few bans
