Valkyrie purify ability

In her description, it states up to 90% chance to purify non damaging debuffs. Does knull’s living abyss debuffs not count as non damaging? I am not sure why she is not purifying any of these at the start of the fight. And how to know what percentage her purify is? Mine is sig 200 but no stat to know what the actual percentage is.

Upto 90% right? Do. Guessing it's lineraly dependent on block proficiency percentage. When block proficiency is 100% shrug chance is 90%. 0% when both are 0%.

Her base block proficiency is 64% . So assuming linear relation, it's a 57.6% chance to shrug debuffs

    @BitterSteel might know better

    Been using her.

Her base block proficiency is 64%

I am assuming that each bulwark buff adds up to a 8.6% chance.

Let's say you add a guardian on the team or pair her with Odin, it will make you purify debuffs a lot quicker because her BP is raised. That's what I'm noticing at least.

How would she get to 100% block proficiency?
And even at 57%, knull shouldn’t be able to place 14 living abyss then?

    It's 90% apologies.

That's an interesting question. Not sure I have seen her purify multiple debuffs at once. Something I have to test. Is it at the beginning of the fight or when the fight starts. Good thread.

For knull it’s at the beginning of the fight. But her abiltity doesn’t state if you need to hit the opponent to purify so I’d assume it should apply at the start of the fight as well

Just tested and it did purify 2 debuffs at the start of the fight against knull, I also tested her against void in war. I didn't have to do anything to have the debuffs purified. I'm assuming each debuff has its own % chance to be purified.

Later today I'll find a knull and use guardian and then Odin to see if the results are different. Once she gets the 3 bulwark buffs I believe it's all the same. The goal here would be to purify debuffs earlier in the fight.

2 out of how many (depending on the sig of the knull you fought)? That seems very low given the percentages listed.

    2/16 sig 99

However , my Vaylk is R4 and I'm testing against a 4* knull so I can't really add my BP on without KO.

I'm going to try to see if I can find a low ranking knull in EQ and let him hit me, hopefully I can see how the armor breaks works too. If you test anything let me make.

It's possible there's like a delay between each purify so multiple debuffs don't get shrugged?

It’s possible but there shouldn’t be based on what I’m seeing in her description.

I've noticed this with MoleMan against Knull as well. If the Knull is a high enough sig, it takes multiple instances to purify all of the initial debuffs, like it can only do 10 at once or something. I've looked at MoleMan's kit and it doesn't really mention if that's how it's supposed to work. I Know Kingpin's kit specifically refers to a cooldown for his Purify.

They typically state that in the descriptions.

    Could be though.

Yeah they would have to include that in the description. I enjoy playing her but I’d love to understand why that ability isn’t working as it reads. It would make her a lot better in certain matchups.
