Questions about rare 1 star champions

Hello my fellow collectors,

There's something i wanna ask about rare 1 star champions. I started playing mcoc last week (Dec 2022), so i’m pretty new to this game. Please kindly answer my questions.

I love collecting things. Currently, 4,5,6 stars champs are out of my reach so, I’m collecting what i can, 1 & 2 stars. I found out that i have some missing 1 star champs.

- 1star Iron Man
- 1star Vision
- 1star Vision (Age of Ultron)
- 1star Deadpool
- 1star Summoned Symbiote

Where can i get them?
How rare are they?

I’ve done some research & found that they can only be collected in low ranks (I’m currently in Contender). I’m scared that i will never obtain them when i ranked up and continue my story acts.

I only found 1 star Vision in prize pool of Daily Contender Crystal but not the others. I also heard 1 star Deadpool is time limited sale & 1 star Summoned Symbiote is event limited.

What should I do ? Should i ranked up or wait until i get full collection ? Please suggest. I hope you‘ll understand my fear about missing something in the collection (I know i will not get all the 5,6 stars, so at least i want to finish my 1 star collection).

P.S: I’m not F2P limited. Also, I don’t care if they are useless or not. I just want to have some fun collecting things I love.

    I believe that the 1 star summoned symbiote is an event exclusive that has passed (no idea whether it will return). The 1 star Deadpool is P2P exclusive. As for the rest, they are available through crystals like the collector crystal currently available in arenas.
    I also relate on this. I am missing many champs in my 2 star roster and I fear I might not be able to collect them. Hope this helps. And have a fun time in MCOC

    It wouldn’t be advised, but there are crystals in the store that you can buy for 50 units a pop that give you a 20% chance at a 1* champ. That’s about your only option.

    Yep
    I took my gamble and got juggernaut to complete my F2P collection. It is risky since you are new and units are scarce for you.

    You can get 1* champs from Daily Crystals, but only the lower progression version of those.

    Once you reach …(not sure at what level, definitely at Uncollected, but probably even the level below that), once you reach that progression, then any future Daily Crystals you get will be of a version that no longer has 1* champs in them.

    I believe that they had also switched *which* champs can be got as 1* in the Daily's over the years, so that maybe not all of the “regular” 12 champs are all still currently available in a Daily (?)

    And as you said, Deadpool is by special offer only, and Symbiote was from special event only (may return some time in the distant future ?)

    Other 12 can also be gotten (even after Progression) by “Collector Crystals” (2* w/ chance of 1*, currently in special holiday Arenas), and by purchase of a “1* Crystal” currently in the MISC STORE (other times in Store it had been either just a 2*, or that Collector 2*/1* crystal).

    You may want to hope that you get 1* Hulk before progressing beyond what your Daily Crystals give you (for the one Variant quest that uses 1* champs).

    Else you will be looking to find him later on in other crystals.

    Actually, that is no longer the case. Its now 25 units for a guaranteed 1 star.

    Yep, originally it had been a 80% 2*, 20% 1* crystal.
    Then for some reason it changed to only a 2* crystal (people were saying, why isn’t the 1* there anymore).
    And now it is just a 1* (100%) crystal. Although that is probably because of the special CAV+ Arena Objective going on now that rewards more objective points for 1* usage.

    Who knows what it will revert back to after December.

    The Daily's were the easiest way, but then people started to be able to advance past that crystal much faster than before, and so never get the chance to acquire them all before moving on.

    if you would like easy future 2* champions, marvel insider at marvel.com is linked to mcoc and you are able to get rewards by completing quests monthly. great source of side resources as well
