What is up with the AI ?

What is up with the AI when you charge scorpions heavy? I have encountered this before but yesterday i decided to take screenshot. The AI just keep holding the block until his heavy ends.
P.S. now i know scorpions torment charges max at 28😂

It's the AI in that Arena. It's less aggressive. I did a Match with Quake. It was somewhat anticlimactic. XD

Not just in arena but in EQ and ROL as well

I haven't had the same experience in other areas. Just that Arena. Held Heavy the whole Fight.

Had it map 3 AQ today, not sure if its the node (hitting block causes concussion) but geez, come at me bro.

I thought i was going to time out on path fights it was that bad.

I have definitely noticed a change in AI behavior since the latest game update. Very frustrating, more so in certain game modes than others.

Definitely looks like an AI update.

I recall a similar story earlier this year when defenders suddenly stopped trying to hit into ghost's phase and would choose to wait it out (like vision above) every once in a while during a fight, even if you let her move up to them phased.

easy AI is super passive. MAP 3 EQ is easy AI. I always go into my first area fight with with quake to take advantage of easy AI

The AI changed in this update, yes.
But the AI keeps changing after few updates.
Nothing new in that regard.

And AQ. There was a match against Guilly that I expected to die in (Quaking her) but uhhh she just stood there and fell down

The Ai will mostly stop and hold block if you are a fair distance away
Very useful when you're using champs that cover alot of distance with heavy like herc or Hyperion

In all seriousness, the AI ostensibly hasn't changed, but it does seem to vary across modes.
