CGR doesn’t need r4 right now, as any content you use him for will get destroyed by a rank 3 anyway. I have both Galan (unawakened) and an awakened scorpion and went for scorpion. That extra sting damage can stack nicely and his immunities make him useful in a lot of content. However, ranking up Galan can allow you to nuke some fights even quicker, but for content like BG and AQ it isn’t really necessary. I could see some benefit in war and side events, but my r3 has been one cycling most fights for me.
