Alliance Milestone Rewards

so i just joined a new alliance about a week ago and it says i can’t contribute to the points for 8 days but my alliance has already gotten all the rewards. do i miss out on the rewards because i couldn’t contribute to the points or will i get them after the 8 days?

Wait until the timer is up to purchase and open crystals so you can contribute. Once you can contribute you will be eligible for all milestone rewards according to the amount of points you contribute and you will be eligible for ranked rewards as well.

Once you reach your 14 days, the milestones will unlock and (once you start contributing) you’ll be able to claim the milestones from the beginning.

Battlegrounds is different than this event. Also, you can’t receive milestones earned prior to joining an alliance, which probably explains your battlegrounds experience. In this specific case, you would get nothing if joining an alliance after the event starts because it ends before the timer is up. He was in the alliance before the event started and will therefore be eligible to earn said milestones when the timer is up and he starts contributing.
