Best has to be hulking. Amazing attacker. Amazing defender. Amazing utility. And very unique and fun playstyle.

I don’t even think people consider her bad, it’s just this year most new champs were great. Compared to them, she isn’t as appreciated, but I wouldn’t say she’s a bad champion.

Interestingly, Captain Britain isn’t that bad. Her prowess and energize are pretty awesome, and I could see her crushing in BG against KP, CB, and any other shruggers. That being said, I did vote her for worst 😂

I'm not getting the sauron hate, in bg alone he absolutely wrecks almost any class champ except tech. The speedy takedowns I got came in clutch many many times. Especially at gladiator level. I'd have to go galan best overall, captain Britain just meh. Not bad. But meh. As in the last one I'd r4 out of the year.

Everyone else I feel brings something to the table, except for Captain Britain. She doesn’t add anything new or interesting in my opinion to the mutant class.

I agree with some of those, but I’m assuming most other people don’t and that’s why she’s frequently voted worst champ.

IMO she has a ton of utility (high block proficiency, immune to shock/precision/AA reduction, energy + non contact attacks, can block unblockable specials, easy access to shock, miss ability on heavy, anti-evade specials) but her buildup is lengthy and the damage payoff is quite low for the time invested.

She has a similar play style to Omega Sentinel where you build up debuffs then pop the SP3 for burst damage, but Omega can dish out plenty more damage in a shorter period of time. I wouldn’t be surprised if she received a numbers tune up when Kabam reviews her performance in the future.

Attuma takes to long to build up for most fights and, until SP3, his damage is pretty bad tbh. Shuri is even worse. I hope they both get significant tune ups

Best - Hulkling, Galan, Scorpion, Rintrah....anyone can be considered best depending on the matchup

Worst - Cap Britain, Shuri, Sauron....Shuri & Sauron are much better defenders but Cap is probably the better attacker
Shuri & Sauron can be redeemed with substantial value buffs

I see. I haven’t seen any chatter about her at all on here, but I figured she was just run of the mill tech. Shame to see only one really good addition to the class this year.

It’s still a close race for first between Galan and Hulkling, though Scorpion has also had a surge to try and challenge for best champion of the year
