Awaken 6* Hercules or Kitty?

I have NEVER in my life had a Sophie's choice like this...so forgive me posting when there's so many of these types of threads right now I know...

My 6* Kitty is currently Rank 3 (my highest rank I can get to so far) and she's so much fun to play. My 6* Herc has not been ranked up at all, but that's cause I had a 5* Herc I was working on ranking up all the way. If I awakened 6* herc I could take him to Rank 3 but not right away since I don't have fully formed cosmic T5 catalyst.

    Kitty Pryde. 5* Hercules will probably get used more than the 6* for the time being, and I feel like Kitty Pryde benefits more than Hercules from awakening. Also, Hercules is way too overrated, and Kitty Pryde is better (this is just my personal opinion, feel free to disagree)

    I have them both @ max sig r4. Trust me on this, Hercules is a beast on top of the beast he is without the awakening. Kitty gets a defensive buff, which is nice, but you can live without it.

    I have both of them at 6r4. Kitty got awakened via class AG and Herc got awakened shortly after I r3 him. First of all, you better check which of their awaken ability fit in your fight style more.

    I prefer Kitty because of an important reason: zero damage when opponent launch SP3 whilst you are in phasing mode. This ability is very useful in EOP, BG, SQ…..all content. Whilst Herc invulnerable mode is great too, it is not that frequent for me to play him in 1% health mode. Maybe a niche as BG defence but I think Herc is good enough without awakening.

    In case of revive on Hercules in 1 fight (like EoP, or boss), does his ability (survive+invulnerable) trigger once again? (survive -> ko -> revive -> survive)

    Thanks everyone - it ended up being a moot point since I got the awakening gem too. I awakened Kitty and I’m going to use the gem on Hercules. Hooray thanks holidays!
