Banquet Points credited?

If we still had a few days left before eligible to claim the Banquet Alliance rewards, and we opened crystals, not realizing we had time left, will we get credited those points once our timer is up? Or are they null? In past, the points went to the event but we just couldn’t claim the rewards.. I purchased 5 and opened 6-8 GBC, not realizing the timed but obviously received no point credits…

    You will not receive any points for activity prior to the timer expiring.
